+-Was ist STALORAL Pollen und wann wird es angewendet?

STALORAL Pollen ist eine Lösung zur sublingualen Anwendung aus Allergenextrakten von Pollen zur spezifischen oralen Desensibilisierung gegen allergische Pollenreaktionen.

STALORAL Pollen kann bei Kindern ab 5 Jahren angewendet werden. Das Produkt wird bei Erwachsenen angewendet, wenn eine Injektionstherapie kontraindiziert ist. STALORAL Pollen darf nur von einem in der Allergologie geschulten Arzt verordnet werden.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Impfungen

Impfungen können ohne Unterbrechung der Einnahme von STALORAL Pollen nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt erwogen werden.

Alkohol, reichhaltiges Essen und intensive körperliche Betätigung sind vor und nach jeder Einnahme zu vermeiden.

+-Wann darf STALORAL Pollen nicht eingenommen werden?

STALORAL Pollen darf nicht eingenommen werden:

?wenn Sie überempfindlich (allergisch) gegen einen der Hilfsstoffe von STALORAL Pollen sind (siehe Abschnitt «Was ist in STALORAL Pollen enthalten?»);

?wenn Sie Betablocker einnehmen (Arzneimittel, die bei Herzproblemen und Herz/Kreislauf-Erkrankungen verordnet werden, z. B. Bluthochdruck);

?wenn Sie an schwerem und/oder unkontrolliertem Asthma oder an einer anderen ernsthaften oder schweren Erkrankung der Atemwege leiden;

?wenn Ihr Immunsystem stark geschwächt ist oder wenn Sie an einer Erkrankung leiden, die Ihr körpereigenes Immunsystem angreift;

?wenn Sie an einer bösartigen Erkrankung leiden (z. B. Krebs);

?wenn Sie an einer Entzündung der Mundhöhle leiden.

+-Wann ist bei der Einnahme von STALORAL Pollen Vorsicht geboten?

Wenn Sie innerhalb einiger Stunden nach der Anwendung von STALORAL Pollen Nebenwirkungen bemerken, wie starken Juckreiz im Bereich der Handflächen oder Fusssohlen, Nesselausschlag, Schwellung im Mundraum und/oder der Schleimhaut, Erstickungsgefühle, Schwierigkeiten beim Atmen oder Schlucken, Übelkeit oder Erbrechen, müssen Sie die Behandlung unterbrechen und unverzüglich Kontakt mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin aufnehmen.

Bei bestehenden Entzündungen der Mundhöhle wie Pilzinfektionen, Aphthen, Wunden, Verlust oder Extraktion eines Zahns oder bei chirurgischen Eingriffen in der Mundhöhle müssen Sie die Behandlung unterbrechen und warten, bis die Wunde verheilt ist (mindestens 7 Tage).

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie:

-an anderen Krankheiten leiden,

-Allergien haben,

-Andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.

+-Darf STALORAL Pollen während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden?

STALORAL Pollen darf nicht während der Schwangerschaft oder Stillzeit angewendet werden, es sei denn, dies ist unbedingt erforderlich. Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder Ihr Kind stillen möchten, sprechen Sie mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt bzw. Ihrer verordnenden Ärztin. Er bzw. sie sagt Ihnen, ob die Behandlung mit STALORAL Pollen fortgeführt werden muss.

+-Wie verwenden Sie STALORAL Pollen?

Die Dosierung wird stets an jeden Patienten bzw. jede Patientin angepasst. Das empfohlene Dosierungsschema dient nur als Richtlinie und muss dem individuellen Therapieverlauf angepasst werden.

Bitte halten Sie sich an die Empfehlungen Ihres Arztes bzw. Ihrer Ärztin.

Nehmen Sie die Tropfen von STALORAL Pollen vorzugsweise morgens vor dem Frühstück ein. Behalten Sie sie etwa 2 Minuten unter der Zunge und schlucken Sie sie dann hinunter.

Anfangsbehandlung: Normalerweise beginnt die Behandlung mit der Flasche zu 0,1 IR/ml oder 0,1 IC/ml (gelber Verschluss).

Bei wenig empfindlichen Patienten kann die Behandlung mit der Flasche zu 1 IR/ml oder 1 IC/ml (grüner Verschluss) begonnen werden.

Fortsetzungsbehandlung: Die Therapiedauer beträgt normalerweise drei Jahre. Die während der Anfangsbehandlung erreichte gut vertragene Höchstdosis wird bis zum 60. Tag täglich, dann für einen Monat 3 Mal wöchentlich und anschliessend 2 Mal pro Woche eingenommen. Während der Pollensaison wird die Therapie unterbrochen oder aber mit einer verminderten Dosis weitergeführt. Nach der Pollensaison wird die Dosis nach dem obigen Schema wieder erhöht.

Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann STALORAL Pollen haben?

-Lokale Reaktionen wie Brennen im Bereich von Lippen, Zunge und Rachen;

-Erbrechen, Durchfall, Ödem in der Mundhöhle, Übelkeit, Bauchschmerzen;

-Muskelschmerzen, Gelenkschmerzen;

-Bindehautentzündung;

-Erkrankungen der Atemwege wie Schnupfen, Asthma;

-Allgemeine Reaktionen wie Nesselsucht, Ekzem oder andere Reaktion assoziiert mit: starkem Juckreiz im Bereich der Handflächen oder Fusssohlen, Nesselausschlag, Schwellung im Mundraum und/oder der Schleimhaut, Erstickungsgefühle, Schwierigkeiten beim Atmen oder Schlucken, Übelkeit oder Erbrechen.

Wenn Sie innerhalb einiger Stunden nach der Anwendung von STALORAL Pollen eine solche Reaktion feststellen, müssen Sie die Behandlung unterbrechen und unverzüglich Kontakt mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin aufnehmen.

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.

+-Was ist ferner zu beachten?

STALORAL Pollen im Kühlschrank (2-8°C) in der Originalverpackung und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Nicht einfrieren.

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
