-einer Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber Codein oder einem der Inhaltsstoffe,
-Fructose-Unverträglichkeit (einer seltenen angeborenen Störung des Zuckerstoffwechsels),
-bei einer akuten Phase eines Asthmaanfalls und anderen Zuständen, die mit einer schweren Einschränkung der Atemfunktion einhergehen,
-gewissen entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen (Divertikulitis) und unmittelbar nach Darmoperationen,
-bei Abhängigkeit von Substanzen, die mit Codein chemisch verwandt sind (sogenannte Opioide),
-nach chirurgischen Eingriffen im Magen-Darm-Trakt,
-bei Verengungen des Mageneingangs, Zwölffingerdarms und Magenausgangs,
-bei einer Behandlung mit gewissen Arzneimitteln gegen Gemütsstörungen (sogenannte Monoaminooxidase-Hemmer (MAO-Hemmer) bei Depressionen),
-während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit,
-bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren.
Bei starker Absonderung von Bronchialschleim sollen Rotpunkt Apotheke Bronchialpastillen mit Codein vorsichtshalber nicht eingenommen werden, da durch die Hemmung des Hustenreflexes der Bronchialschleim nicht abgehustet werden kann.
Die gleichzeitige Einnahme gewisser Arzneimittel gegen Schlafstörungen, Erregungszustände, Depressionen oder gegen Allergien kann die Wirkung von Rotpunkt Apotheke Bronchialpastillen mit Codein verstärken. Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin wird Ihnen erklären, bei welchen Arzneimitteln das der Fall ist und was zu beachten ist, wenn eine gleichzeitige Einnahme notwendig ist.
Bei Einnahme über eine längere Zeit kann Gewöhnung und Abhängigkeit eintreten.
Dieses Arzneimittel kann die Reaktionsfähigkeit, die Fahrtüchtigkeit und die Fähigkeit Werkzeuge oder Maschinen zu bedienen, beeinträchtigen! Dies gilt in verstärktem Masse bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme alkoholischer Getränke.
Bei Leber- und Nierenerkrankungen oder wenn sich zeigen sollte, dass bei Ihnen aufgrund einer erblichen Veranlagung der Wirkstoff Codein langsamer ausgeschieden wird, sollten Sie Rotpunkt Apotheke Bronchialpastillen mit Codein vorsichtshalber nur auf ärztliche Verordnung einnehmen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie
-an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
-Allergien haben oder
-andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Rotpunkt Apotheke Bronchialpastillen mit Codein dürfen während Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nicht eingenommen werden.
Erwachsene und Jugendliche über 12 Jahre: alle 1 bis 2 Stunden 1-2 Pastillen im Mund zergehen lassen, maximal 12 Pastillen pro Tag. Wenn der Husten nach 5-7 Tagen Behandlung nicht verschwunden oder beträchtlich zurückgegangen ist oder sich sogar verschlechtert hat, sollten Sie einen Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufsuchen, damit die Ursache des Hustens abgeklärt und falls nötig eine spezielle Behandlung eingeleitet wird.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Rotpunkt Apotheke Bronchialpastillen mit Codein auftreten:
Häufig können Verstopfungen und Magen-Darm-Beschwerden, sowie Müdigkeit oder Kopfschmerzen auftreten.
Gelegentlich kann es bei der Einnahme höherer Dosen zu Sehstörungen (verschwommenes Sehen, Schielen), Blutdruckabfall (Schwarzwerden vor den Augen, Schwindelanfälle) und Atembeschwerden (Verlangsamung und Verflachung der Atmung) kommen.
In seltenen Fällen können Antriebslosigkeit, Stimmungsschwankungen, Schlafstörungen, Ohrensausen, Bronchialkrämpfe, Mundtrockenheit und in sehr seltenen Fällen Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen (Allergien) oder Euphorie auftreten. Allergische Reaktionen machen sich durch Juckreiz, Hautrötung, Schweissausbrüche, Herzklopfen und Unwohlsein bemerkbar und können in Einzelfällen bis zur Ohnmacht gehen. Bei Auftreten von plötzlicher Atemnot oder Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen ist das Arzneimittel sofort abzusetzen und der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin zu konsultieren.
Codein kann Abhängigkeit und leichte Entzugserscheinungen erzeugen. Aufgrund des enthaltenen Süssungsmittels Sorbitol können sich bei höheren Dosen Blähungen oder leichter Durchfall einstellen, welche jedoch durch Herabsetzen der Dosis wieder verschwinden.
