Naramig Filmtabletten werden angewendet zur akuten Behandlung von Migräneanfällen.
Es wird angenommen, dass Migränekopfschmerzen durch eine schmerzhafte Erweiterung und Entzündung von Blutgefässen im Kopf verursacht werden.
Naramig lindert die Migränekopfschmerzen, indem es die erweiterten Blutgefässe verengt.
Naramig darf nicht zur Vorbeugung (Prophylaxe) gegen Migräne verwendet werden.
Naramig Filmtabletten dürfen nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin hin eingenommen werden.
Naramig Filmtabletten dürfen nicht eingenommen werden bei Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem Bestandteil des Präparates, bei unbehandeltem Bluthochdruck, durchgemachtem Herzinfarkt, durchgemachtem Schlaganfall, bekannten Durchblutungsstörungen des Herzens (Angina pectoris), des Gehirns und der Gliedmassen und bei Patientinnen und Patienten mit schweren Funktionsstörungen der Leber und der Niere.
Naramig Filmtabletten sollten nur bei einer eindeutigen Diagnose einer Migräne angewendet werden.
In seltenen Fällen kann ein sogenanntes «Serotonin Syndrom» auftreten, wenn Triptane wie z.B. Naramig zusammen mit anderen Arzneimitteln mit serotonerger Wirkung angewendet werden. Dazu gehören bestimmte Arzneimittel gegen Depressionen (z.B. sogenannte selektive Serotonin-Wiederaufnahme-Hemmer oder selektive Serotonin/Noradrenalin-Wiederaufnahme-Hemmer, sogenannte MAO-Hemmer, L-Tryptophan, Lithium, trizyklische Antidepressiva u.a.). Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin, wenn Sie mit diesen Arzneimitteln behandelt werden. Das «Serotonin-Syndrom» kann folgende Symptome umfassen: Gesteigerte Erregbarkeit der Muskeleigenreflexe, Muskelzuckungen, Zittern, Unruhe, Angst, Halluzinationen, Reizbarkeit bis zum Verwirrtheitszustand und zur Bewusstlosigkeit, schneller Herzschlag, Blutdruckschwankungen, Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Fieber und Durchfall. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin, wenn nach der Einnahme von Naramig eines dieser Symptome auftritt.
Naramig sollte nicht zusammen mit Migränemitteln, welche Sumatriptan oder ein anderes Triptan bzw. Ergotamin oder Ergotaminderivate wie z.B. Dihydroergotamin oder Methysergid enthalten, eingenommen werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie
Die Kopfschmerzen können sich verschlimmern, falls Sie zu häufig Naramig verwenden. Ihr Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin wird in diesem Fall möglicherweise die Behandlung mit Naramig absetzen.
Der Wirkstoff von Naramig Filmtabletten, Naratriptan, besitzt eine Sulfonamidkomponente. Daher besteht das theoretische Risiko einer Überempfindlichkeitsreaktion bei Patientinnen oder Patienten mit einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit auf Sulfonamide.
Dieses Arzneimittel kann die Reaktionsfähigkeit, die Fahrtüchtigkeit und Fähigkeit Werkzeuge oder Maschinen zu bedienen, beeinträchtigen! Als Folge der Migräne oder deren Behandlung mit Naramig kann auch Schläfrigkeit auftreten. Vorsicht ist deshalb geboten, wenn Sie während der Behandlung ein Fahrzeug lenken oder Maschinen bedienen.
Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder es werden möchten, dürfen Sie Naramig nicht einnehmen, es sei denn, Ihr Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin ordne dies ausdrücklich an. Während der Anwendung von Naramig soll nicht gestillt werden.
Falls der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, gelten folgende Dosierungsrichtlinien:
Beim ersten Anzeichen von Migränekopfschmerzen oder auch während des Anfalles ist 1 Filmtablette zu 2,5 mg einzunehmen. Nur wenn die bereits abgeklungenen Migränesymptome wieder auftreten, kann eine weitere Filmtablette zu 2,5 mg eingenommen werden, vorausgesetzt, dass seit der Einnahme der ersten Filmtablette mindestens 4 Stunden vergangen sind.
Innerhalb von 24 Stunden dürfen nicht mehr als 2 Filmtabletten (5 mg) eingenommen werden.
Die Filmtablette wird ganz mit etwas Wasser geschluckt.
Falls die erste Filmtablette nach 4 Stunden keine Wirkung gezeigt hat, sollten Sie für denselben Migräneanfall keine weitere Naramig Filmtablette einnehmen, sondern den Anfall mit den gewohnten Schmerzmitteln weiterbehandeln, sofern diese kein Sumatriptan, Ergotamin oder Dihydroergotamin enthalten.
Naramig soll nicht bei Kindern oder Jugendlichen unter 18 Jahren und bei Erwachsenen über 65 Jahre angewendet werden, da noch zu wenig Erfahrungen vorliegen.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Naramig auftreten:
Kribbeln*, Übelkeit, Schläfrigkeit, Erbrechen, Schmerzen*, Hitzegefühl*
Schwere*-, Druck*- oder Engegefühl*.
* Diese Nebenwirkungen können den ganzen Körper einschliesslich Brust und Hals betreffen, sind aber meist von kurzer Dauer. Sollten diese Symptome jedoch schwer sein und/oder längere Zeit andauern, wenden Sie sich bitte unverzüglich an Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin. Er/sie wird entscheiden, ob Sie mit der Behandlung weiterfahren dürfen oder nicht.
Es wurden in seltenen Fällen Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen aller Schweregrade (z.B. Hautausschlag, Luftnot bis zum Schock, der lebensbedrohlich sein kann), Herzinfarkt, Durchblutungsstörungen der Herzkranzgefässe, der Extremitäten oder des Darmes beobachtet. Sollten Schmerzen in der Brust auftreten, wenden Sie sich bitte unverzüglich an Ihren Arzt oder an Ihre Ärztin.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Naramig Filmtabletten sind nicht über 30 °C und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
