Clindamycin Pfizer ist ein Arzneimittel gegen bakterielle Infektionskrankheiten mit dem Wirkstoff Clindamycin. Da dieser keine Ähnlichkeit zu Penicillin und dessen Abkömmlingen aufweist, kann Clindamycin Pfizer bei Penicillin?Überempfindlichkeit eingesetzt werden.
Auf Verschreibung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin wird Clindamycin Pfizer zur Behandlung verschiedener, durch Bakterien hervorgerufener Infektionskrankheiten eingesetzt:
Infektionen der Atemwege und Lunge sowie im Hals?Nasen?Ohren?Bereich (z.B. Rachen?, Mandel?, Lungen?, Mittelohr?, Nasennebenhöhlen?Entzündung, Scharlach, Bronchitis); Haut? und Weichteilinfektionen (z.B. Abszesse, Furunkel, Wundinfektionen, Akne); Knochen? und Gelenkinfektionen; Infektionen der weiblichen Geschlechtsorgane; Zahn? und Zahnfleischinfektionen.
Auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin.
Dieses Arzneimittel wurde Ihnen von Ihrem Arzt bzw. von Ihrer Ärztin zur Behandlung Ihrer gegenwärtigen Erkrankung verschrieben.
Das Antibiotikum Clindamycin in Clindamycin Pfizer ist nicht gegen alle Mikroorganismen, welche Infektionskrankheiten verursachen, wirksam. Die Anwendung eines falsch gewählten oder nicht richtig dosierten Antibiotikums kann Komplikationen verursachen. Wenden Sie es deshalb nie von sich aus für die Behandlung anderer Erkrankungen oder anderer Personen an.
Clindamycin Pfizer darf bei bekannter oder vermuteter Überempfindlichkeit (Allergie) auf Clindamycin oder Lincomycin nicht angewendet werden.
Bei schweren Leber?, Nieren? oder Magen?Darm?Erkrankungen sowie bei Störungen der Signalübertragung zwischen Nerv und Muskel (Bsp. Parkinson-Krankheit oder Myasthenia gravis, einer Muskelschwächekrankheit) und bei Bronchialasthma muss Clindamycin Pfizer vorsichtig dosiert werden. Beim Auftreten von Durchfall dürfen keine Arzneimittel, welche die Darmperistaltik (Darmbewegung) hemmen, eingenommen werden.
Erythromycin, eine andere Substanz mit antibakteriellen Eigenschaften, kann die Wirkung von Clindamycin Pfizer beeinflussen und darf daher nicht gleichzeitig eingenommen werden. Gewisse andere Arzneimittel können ebenfalls einen Einfluss auf Clindamycin Pfizer haben.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Grundsätzlich soll Clindamycin Pfizer während der Schwangerschaft nicht eingenommen werden, ausser auf ausdrückliche Verordnung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin.
Während der Anwendung von Clindamycin Pfizer soll nicht gestillt werden.
Der Arzt legt aufgrund der Schwere der Erkrankung die Dosierung und Behandlungsdauer fest.
Im Allgemeinen beträgt die Tagesdosis bei Erwachsenen zwischen 600 und 1800 mg, bei Kindern zwischen 8 und 25 mg/kg Körpergewicht, in 3 bis 4 Gaben pro Tag aufgeteilt.
Die Kapseln können unabhängig von den Mahlzeiten eingenommen werden und müssen mit einem Glas Wasser geschluckt werden.
Eine begonnene Antibiotika?Therapie sollte so lange wie vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verordnet, durchgeführt werden. Die Krankheitssymptome verschwinden oft bevor die Infektion vollständig ausgeheilt ist. Eine ungenügende Anwendungsdauer oder ein zu frühes Beenden der Behandlung kann ein erneutes Aufflammen der Erkrankung zur Folge haben.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung oder Behandlungsdauer. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Die Lösung wird normalerweise vom Apotheker, von der Apothekerin zubereitet. Falls die Lösung nicht zubereitet ist, muss dem Pulver Leitungswasser wie folgt zugegeben werden:
Das ergibt 80 ml gebrauchsfertige Lösung. Ein Messlöffel (5 ml) der zubereiteten Lösung enthält 75 mg Clindamycin.
Flasche vor jeder Anwendung schütteln.
Am häufigsten treten Hautausschläge auf; weitere häufige Nebenwirkungen sind Bauchschmerzen, Durchfall und Leberfunktionsstörungen. Diese Nebenwirkungen können während der Anwendung des Antibiotikums oder erst 2?3 Wochen danach auftreten. Bei schweren, anhaltenden Durchfällen mit Bauchkrämpfen und Fieber ist das Arzneimittel abzusetzen und der behandelnde Arzt bzw. die behandelnde Ärztin unverzüglich zu benachrichtigen.
Gelegentlich wurden Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Geschmacksstörungen, niedriger Blutdruck, Herz- und Atembeschwerden und Nesselsucht gemeldet.
Kopfschmerzen, Schwindel, Schläfrigkeit, Blutbildveränderungen, Entzündungen in der Speiseröhre und der Leber, Gelbsucht, Gelenkschmerzen, vaginale Entzündungen sowie Juckreiz und schwerwiegende Haut- und Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen wurden selten bis sehr selten beobachtet.
Clindamycin Pfizer ist bei den ersten Anzeichen von allergischen Reaktionen (z.B. Hautrötungen, Hautausschlag mit Bläschenbildung, Schwellungen von Gesicht, Haut oder Schleimhäuten, Atemnot) abzusetzen und umgehend der Arzt/die Ärztin zu kontaktieren.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» (=Verfalldatum: Monat/Jahr) bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Die aus dem Clindamycin Pfizer Granulat hergestellte Lösung wird bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) aufbewahrt und ist zwei Wochen haltbar. Lösung nicht im Kühlschrank aufbewahren und nicht einfrieren.
Nach Beendigung der Behandlung wird der Rest des Arzneimittels dem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. der Ärztin oder Apothekerin zur fachgerechten Entsorgung zurückgebracht.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
1 weisse Kapsel enthält 150 mg bzw. 300 mg Clindamycin. Hilfsstoffe: Maisstärke, Talk, Magnesiumstearat, Laktose, Titandioxid (E171) und Gelatine.
1 Messlöffel (=5 ml) hergestellter Sirup enthält 75 mg Clindamycin. Hilfsstoffe: Simethicon, Poloxamer, 1.8 g Saccharose (ca. 0.2 BW oder 8 kcal), Aromastoffe (Kirscharoma, u.a. mit Vanillin) und Konservierungsmittel Ethylparahydroxybenzoat (E214).
