Buprenorphin-Mepha ist Teil eines medizinischen, sozialen und psychologischen Behandlungsprogramms für drogenabhängige Patientinnen und Patienten. Die Behandlung mit Buprenorphin-Mepha Sublingualtabletten ist für Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 16 Jahren gedacht.
Buprenorphin-Mepha Sublingualtabletten dürfen nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Buprenorphin-Mepha muss genau so eingenommen werden, wie vom Arzt verschrieben.
Unter Missbrauch oder nicht vorschriftsmässiger Einnahme von Buprenorphin-Mepha bzw. unter gleichzeitiger Einnahme von Buprenorphin-Mepha und Benzodiazepinen (Tranquilizer) sind Todesfälle durch Atemstillstand aufgetreten.
Geben Sie Buprenorphin-Mepha Sublingualtabletten nicht an andere Personen weiter.
Bei einer Allergie auf Buprenorphin oder einen anderen Bestandteil von Buprenorphin-Mepha, bei Beeinträchtigung der Atemfunktion oder Asthma, bei schweren Störungen der Leber, bei akutem Alkoholabusus, während der Stillperiode und bei Kindern/Jugendlichen unter 16 Jahren.
Vorsicht ist bei Patientinnen und Patienten mit Erkrankungen der Atemwege geboten, da Buprenorphin, der Wirkstoff von Buprenorphin-Mepha, besonders bei den Patientinnen und Patienten die auf diesen Wirkstoff stark reagieren, eine atemhemmende Wirkung ausüben kann. Teilen Sie Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin mit, wenn Sie an einer Lebererkrankung oder an einer Krankheit des Nervensystems leiden.
Es sollte kein Alkohol eingenommen werden, da dadurch die Wirkung von Buprenorphin-Mepha verstärkt wird.
Dieses Arzneimittel kann die Reaktionsfähigkeit, die Fahrtüchtigkeit und die Fähigkeit, Werkzeuge oder Maschinen zu bedienen, beeinträchtigen! Starke Schmerzmittel, Schlafmittel, Beruhigungsmittel, Mittel gegen Epilepsie können die Wirkung von Buprenorphin-Mepha verstärken. Sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt bzw, Ihrer Ärztin, wenn Sie solche Arzneimittel einnehmen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Patientinnen und Patienten, die auf Azofarbstoffe, Acetylsalicylsäure sowie Rheuma- und Schmerzmittel (Prostaglandinhemmern) überempflindlich reagieren, sollen Buprenorphin-Mepha 2 mg und 8 mg nicht anwenden.
Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder schwanger werden möchten, sollen Sie Buprenorphin-Mepha ausschliesslich nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt oder der Ärztin bzw. nur auf ausdrückliche Verordnung des Arztes oder der Ärztin einnehmen. Da der Wirkstoff von Buprenorphin-Mepha in die Muttermilch gelangt, sollen Mütter, die unter Buprenorphin-Mepha-Behandlung stehen, nicht stillen.
Die Dosierung wird für jede Patientin und jeden Patienten individuell vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin festgelegt und je nach Ansprechen laufend angepasst. Halten Sie sich bitte genau an die verschriebene Dosierung. Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Buprenorphin-Mepha muss sublingual eingenommen werden, d.h. die Tablette wird unter die Zunge gelegt und dort zergehen gelassen (5 bis 10 Minuten). Dies ist die einzig wirksame und sichere Art Buprenorphin-Mepha einzunehmen. Buprenorphin-Mepha darf nicht wie eine übliche Tablette mit einem Glas Wasser geschluckt werden oder zerkaut werden, da Buprenorphin-Mepha, um wirksam zu sein, über die Mundschleimhaut in den Körper aufgenommen werden muss.
Drücken Sie die Tabletten nicht aus dem Blister.
Öffnen Sie jeweils nur einen Abschnitt der Blisterpackung. Ziehen Sie dazu entlang der perforierten Linie.
An einer Ecke kann die Folie angehoben werden. Heben Sie die Folie an, ziehen Sie sie vorsichtig weg und entnehmen Sie die Tablette.
Nach der ersten Einnahme von Buprenorphin-Mepha kann es zu Opiatentzugssymptomen kommen, ebenso bei einer ersten Einnahme von Buprenorphin-Mepha weniger als 6 Stunden nach der letzten Drogeneinnahme und bei einem plötzlichen Abbrechen der Buprenorphin-Mepha-Behandlung.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Buprenorphin-Mepha auftreten: Schlaflosigkeit, Kopfschmerzen, Verstopfung, Müdigkeit, Übelkeit und Schwitzen traten häufig auf. Gelegentlich wurden Erbrechen und Benommenheit, in seltenen Fällen Atemstörungen, Leberstörungen und Halluzinationen beobachtet.
Blutdruckabfall (z.B. Schwindelgefühl) und Mattigkeit wurden in seltenen Fällen unter der Behandlung mit anderen buprenorphinhaltigen Präparaten beobachtet.
Diese Nebenwirkungen werden durch die gleichzeitige Einnahme von Alkohol und bestimmten Medikamenten (wie z.B. Beruhigungs- und Schlafmittel, Mittel gegen Angstzustände und Depressionen, starke Schmerz- und Hustenmittel, bestimmte Mittel gegen Allergien) verstärkt und können dann unter Umständen lebensbedrohlich werden.
Folgende Symptome sind Anzeichen einer Leberstörung und sollten daher sofort dem behandelnden Arzt gemeldet werden: schwere Müdigkeit, Appetitlosigkeit, Gelbfärbung der Haut oder Augen (Gelbsucht).
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Buprenorphin-Mepha Sublingualtabletten nicht über 25 °C lagern und in der Originalpackung aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Verpackung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Nach Beendigung der Behandlung das Arzneimittel mit dem restlichen Inhalt Ihrer Abgabestelle (Arztpraxis, Apotheke) zur fachgerechten Entsorgung zurückbringen.
Dieses Arzneimittel kann die Reaktionsfähigkeit, die Fahrtüchtigkeit und die Fähigkeit, Werkzeuge oder Maschinen zu bedienen, beeinträchtigen. Das Bedienen von Maschinen und das Lenken von Fahrzeugen ist unbedingt mit dem Arzt oder der Ärztin abzusprechen. Buprenorphin-Mepha kann zur Benommenheit führen, insbesondere wenn es mit Alkohol oder Beruhigungsmitteln angewendet wird. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
