Das Präparat wird auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet zur Behandlung von entzündlichen, juckenden und ekzematösen Erkrankungen der Kopfhaut, Psoriasis/Seborrhoe. Die Grundlage der Sebo-Psor Lotion ist leicht fettend. Durch die Kombination mit den darin enthaltenen Wirkstoffen wird das Austrocknen der Kopfhaut verhindert.
Wenn Ihnen bekannt ist, dass Sie auf Kortikosteroide oder auf einen in Sebo-Psor Lotion enthaltenen Wirk- oder Hilfsstoff überempfindlich reagieren, sollten Sie Sebo-Psor Lotion nicht anwenden. Falls Sie an einer Herpesinfektion (z.B. Fieberbläschen), an Windpocken (spitze Blattern) oder Hauttuberkulose leiden, ist eine Behandlung mit Sebo-Psor Lotion für Sie nicht geeignet. Bei offenen Wunden und eitrigen Entzündungen wie z.B. Furunkel, Abszessen und Akne oder Hautpilzerkrankungen soll Sebo-Psor Lotion nicht angewendet werden.
Kontakt mit Augen und Schleimhäuten ist zu vermeiden. Sebo-Psor Lotion ist ein stark wirksames Arzneimittel. Überschreiten Sie nicht die vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin vorgeschriebene Behandlungsdauer, die normalerweise 2 bis 3 Wochen beträgt, da sich sonst Hautschäden einstellen können.
Wenn eine Hautkrankheit nicht innert einiger Tage auf die Behandlung anspricht oder sich gar verschlimmert, konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin. Teilen Sie ihm bzw. ihr ebenfalls mit, wenn Juckreiz und Rötung, Bläschen oder eine starke Verdünnung der Haut und Verletzungen auftreten.
Eine Anwendung auf verstärkt resorbierenden Hautarealen (offene Wunden, geschädigte Haut) ist zu vermeiden.
Verwenden Sie Sebo-Psor Lotion nur für Ihr jetziges Hautleiden, für das der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin sie Ihnen verschrieben hat, nicht aber für andere spätere Hautleiden. Geben Sie Sebo-Psor Lotion nicht an andere Personen weiter.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, sollen Sie Sebo-Psor Lotion ausschliesslich nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt oder der Ärztin anwenden.
Wenn vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, reiben Sie die Sebo-Psor Lotion 1?2mal täglich in die trockene Kopfhaut ein; am nächsten Morgen shampoonieren. Starke Schuppenauflagerungen können vorgängig mit einer geeigneten Lotion entfernt werden.
Als Erhaltungstherapie genügt 2?3maliges Einreiben der Sebo-Psor Lotion pro Woche. Sebo-Psor Lotion soll bei Kindern nicht angewendet werden.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Sebo-Psor Lotion auftreten:
In nicht bekannter Häufigkeit können Reizungen der Haut, wie Rötung, Brennen, Jucken, Trockenheit und Schuppung sowie Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen auftreten.
Häufigkeit nicht bekannt: Nach längerer und grossflächigerer Anwendung kann es zu einer Verdünnung der behandelten Hautstellen, zu Erweiterungen kleiner oberflächlicher Blutgefässe, Pigmentveränderungen, vermehrter Körperbehaarung, entzündlicher Hautreaktion und zur Bildung von blau-rötlichen Streifen kommen.
Bei Kindern, besonders Säuglingen und Kleinkindern ist zu beachten, dass der Wirkstoff vermehrt in die Blutbahn aufgenommen wird, so dass u.a. Wachstumsstörungen bei längerer Anwendung auftreten können.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Sebo-Psor Lotion darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern. Kontakt mit Augen und Schleimhäuten ist zu vermeiden. Nur zur äusserlichen Anwendung.
Unter Therapie mit Sebo-Psor Lotion sollte die Kopfhaut vor Sonne und künstlicher Ultraviolett-Bestrahlung (z.B. Höhensonne, Solarien), geschützt werden.
Das Arzneimittel soll für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahrt werden. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.

Wirkstoffe: 1 mg Dexamethason, 0,25 mg Tretinoin (Vitamin A-Säure), 20 mg Harnstoff.
