Oxyplastin fördert die Wundheilung und schützt die Haut. Oxyplastin ist eine ölige, homogene Paste, die sich leicht auf der Haut auftragen und wieder entfernen lässt. Sie verfügt über ein gutes Haftungsvermögen, das die wundheilenden und hautschützenden Eigenschaften unterstützt. Oxyplastin fördert die Regeneration des Gewebes und beschleunigt die Vernarbung. Oxyplastin wird in folgenden Fällen angewendet:
1. Bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern: Zum Schutz der Haut gegen die Nässe der Windeln und zur Behandlung von Hautrötungen und Wundsein am Gesäss (Windeldermatitis).
2. In der Allgemein-Medizin: Zur Behandlung von kleineren Verletzungen und Hautschäden. Nach Anweisung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin als Hautschutz bei künstlichem Darmausgang (Anus praeter), Anlegen einer künstlichen Blasenfistel (Zystostomie), Anlegen einer äusseren Nierenfistel (Nephrostomie), Eröffnung der Luftröhrenvorderwand (Tracheotomie), unter Gipsverbänden.
Bei einer bestehenden Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe darf Oxyplastin nicht angewendet werden.
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen zu befolgen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Je nach Bedarf ein- bis mehrmals täglich auf die zu behandelnden Stellen auftragen. Tägliches, vorbeugendes Auftragen einer dünnen Schicht Oxyplastin schützt die Haut des Kindes gegen die Nässe der Windeln und verhindert Rötungen, welche später zum Wundsein führen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
