Octenisept farblos ist ein wässriges Desinfektionsmittel für die Anwendung auf der Haut und der Schleimhaut. Es tötet Bakterien und Pilze ab und wirkt zusätzlich gegen Viren.
Octenisept farblos wird angewendet zur Desinfektion der Haut und Schleimhaut bei kleineren Verletzungen und Wunden wie z.B. Schnittwunden, Hautrissen, Schürfungen oder kleinflächigen leichten Verbrennungen (Verbrennungen 1. Grades). Octenisept farblos wird auch zur Desinfektion der Mundschleimhaut angewendet. Die Anwendung von Octenisept farblos ist schmerzfrei.
Grossflächige, stark verschmutzte und tiefe Wunden sowie Biss- und Stichwunden benötigen eine ärztliche Behandlung (Gefahr von Wundstarrkrampf). Bleibt der Umfang einer Wunde während einiger Zeit unverändert gross oder verheilt die Wunde nicht innerhalb von 10 bis 14 Tagen, ist ebenfalls ein Arztbesuch erforderlich. Ebenso, wenn die Wundränder stark gerötet sind, die Wunde plötzlich anschwillt, stark schmerzhaft ist oder die Verletzung von Fieber begleitet wird (Gefahr einer Blutvergiftung).
Sie dürfen Octenisept farblos nicht anwenden, wenn Sie auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe allergisch sind. Octenisept farblos darf nicht im Ohr oder am Auge angewendet werden.
Octenisept farblos soll ohne ärztliche Überwachung nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum angewendet werden. Nicht einnehmen.
Octenisept farblos nicht auf oder in der Nähe von Hautstellen anwenden, die mit Desinfektionsmitteln auf der Basis von PVP-Iod behandelt wurden. Dabei kann es im Grenzbereich zu starken braunen bis violetten Färbungen kommen.

Octenisept farblos kann in der Schwangerschaft und in der Stillzeit kurzfristig angewendet werden.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, bei Bedarf Octenisept farblos direkt auf die zu behandelnden Stellen aufsprühen bis diese vollständig benetzt sind. 1 Minute einwirken lassen.
Zur Spülung der Mundhöhle mit ca. 20 ml Octenisept farblos 20 Sekunden lang intensiv spülen und anschliessend ausspucken.
Octenisept farblos kann bereits im Säuglingsalter angewendet werden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Octenisept farblos auftreten: Es kann vorübergehend zu einem Brennen und einem pelzigen Gefühl auf der Haut kommen. Bei Spülungen der Mundhöhle tritt vorübergehend ein bitterer Geschmack auf.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin. Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
