Midro Tabs sind ein pflanzliches Abführmittel zur Behandlung von gelegentlicher Verstopfung (z.B. bei Kostumstellung, Ortswechsel oder Bettruhe).
Um Ihren Darm zur normalen Funktion zu erziehen, können folgende Hinweise hilfreich sein:
1. Ernähren Sie sich richtig: Zu regelmässigen Mahlzeiten kalorienreduzierte, ballaststoffreiche Mischkost (z.B. Gemüse, Salate, Vollkornbrot usw.) bei ausreichender Flüssigkeitszufuhr.
2. Möglichst viel Bewegung (insbesondere bei sitzender Berufsausübung).
3. Keine Unterdrückung des Stuhldrangs.
Bei allen Erkrankungen des Magen-Darm-Traktes (z.B. Entzündungen, Blutungen, Verengungen im Magen-Darm-System, bei Darmverschluss, Verdacht auf Blinddarmentzündung) oder bei Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Inhaltsstoffe dürfen Midro Tabs nicht eingenommen werden. Für Kinder unter 12 Jahren nur auf ärztliche Verschreibung. Abführmittel sollen, wegen einer möglichen Gewöhnung, nur gelegentlich und nicht länger als 1?2 Wochen eingenommen werden. Bei chronischem Gebrauch/Missbrauch oder Anwendung höherer als der empfohlenen Dosen können Durchfälle mit Wasserverlust und Störungen des Salzhaushaltes (insbesondere Kaliumverlust) auftreten. Deshalb ist besondere Vorsicht geboten bei Patienten, die gleichzeitig bestimmte wassertreibende Medikamente (Diuretika), Arzneimittel mit Süssholzwurzel, Kortikosteroide, gewisse Antihistaminika (wie Terfenadin), Arzneimittel bei Herzmuskelschwäche (Herzglycoside wie Dogoxin) sowie bestimmte Arzneimittel bei Herzrhythmusstörungen (Antiarrhythmika) einnehmen. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Medikamente (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden. Langzeitbehandlungen gehören unter ärztliche Kontrolle.
In der Schwangerschaft und während der Stillzeit dürfen Midro Tabs nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin eingenommen werden.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, 2?6 Tabs vorzugsweise vor dem Schlafengehen zerkauen und mit etwas Wasser schlucken (Wirkungseintritt nach ca. 8 Stunden). Beginnen Sie mit 4 Midro Tabs. Reduzieren oder steigern Sie die Dosierung so individuell, wie Sie es für eine Darmentleerung benötigen. Die maximale tägliche Aufnahme darf nicht mehr als 30 mg Hydroxyanthracenderivate (berechnet als Sennosid B) betragen. Dies entspricht maximal 6 Midro Tabs. Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Medikament wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogistenbzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme oder Anwendung von Midro Tabs auftreten: In seltenen Fällen können Midro Tabs Blähungen oder Bauchkrämpfe verursachen. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Arzneimittel sollten für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahrt werden. Vor Wärme und Feuchtigkeit schützen und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw.
