Lemocin ist ein Arzneimittel zur lokalen Behandlung von Entzündungen des Mund- und Rachenraumes wie Halsschmerzen, Schluckbeschwerden, Zahnfleischentzündungen, Aphthen etc. Tyrothricin und Cetrimoniumbromid wirken antibakteriell und desinfizierend. Lidocain mindert die Schmerzen, die mit der Entzündung der Schleimhäute im Mund- und Rachenraum einhergehen.
Wenden Sie Lemocin nicht an, wenn Sie an einer Überempfindlichkeit (Allergie) gegen Tyrothricin, Cetrimoniumbromid, Lidocain, andere Lokalanästhetika des Amidtyps oder sonstige Inhaltsstoffe von Lemocin leiden.
In folgenden Fällen sollten Sie Ihren Arzt/Apotheker oder Ihre Ärztin/Apothekerin um Rat fragen:
Kurz vor oder nach der Anwendung von Lemocin sollen die Zähne nicht geputzt werden, da sonst die Wirkung von Lemocin durch die Zahnpaste vermindert wird.
Lemocin sollte während oder unmittelbar nach dem Trinken oder Essen nicht angewendet werden. Die lokalanästhetische Wirkung des Lidocains kann ein vorübergehendes Taubheitsgefühl von Zunge und Rachen verursachen und so das Schlucken beeinträchtigen. Trinken oder essen Sie nichts, solange das Taubheitsgefühl anhält.
Die Lutschtabletten enthalten Sorbitol (E 420): Falls Sie an einer Intoleranz gegen gewisse Zucker (Fructose) leiden, sollten Sie das Präparat nicht einnehmen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder stillen, wenn Sie vermuten schwanger zu sein oder eine Schwangerschaft planen, sollten Sie vorsichtshalber auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen, bevor Sie Arzneimittel anwenden.
Falls vom Arzt oder der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet:
Bei leichteren Halsschmerzen, Schluckbeschwerden, Zahnfleischentzündungen etc.: 1 Lutschtablette alle 2-3 Stunden langsam im Munde zergehen lassen.
Bei schwereren Beschwerden: 1 Lutschtablette stündlich langsam im Munde zergehen lassen. Die maximale Tagesdosis beträgt 12 Tabletten.
Bei Aphthen die Lutschtablette direkt auf der betroffenen Stelle langsam zergehen lassen.
Die Lutschtabletten sollten weder zerkaut noch ganz geschluckt werden.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Lemocin bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Lemocin auftreten:
Stoppen Sie die Behandlung mit Lemocin und informieren Sie sofort Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin, wenn bei Ihnen eines oder mehrere der folgenden Symptome auftreten, die Zeichen einer allergischen Reaktion sein können:
Selten (bei 1 von 1'000 Patienten) treten lokale Reizungen im Mund- oder Rachenraum auf, vor allem bei häufiger Verabreichung über längere Zeiträume. Die Anwendung von Tyrothricin auf frischen Wunden kann zu Blutungen führen.
Sehr selten (bei 1 von 10'000 Patienten) kann Übelkeit auftreten, v.a. wenn die Lutschtabletten in hohen Dosen oder auf nüchternen Magen genommen werden (wegen des in den Lutschtabletten enthaltenen Lidocains).
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Wie alle Arzneimittel sollen Lemocin Lutschtabletten ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden.
Lemocin bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) und vor Licht und Feuchtigkeit geschützt lagern.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit ?EXP? bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

1 Lutschtablette enthält:
Wirkstoffe: Tyrothricin 4 mg, Cetrimoniumbromid 2 mg, Lidocain 1 mg.
Lemocin griotte: 1,05 g Sorbit = 17,6 kJ (4,2 kcal); Saccharin Natrium; Aromastoffe (Vanillin und weitere); Farbstoff: Eisenoxid rot (E 172) sowie weitere Hilfsstoffe.
Lemocin griotte sind pinkfarbene bis rote, weiss gesprenkelte Lutschtabletten, viereckig mit beidseitig abgeschliffenen Kanten, mit Kirschengeschmack.
Lemocin citron: 1,09 g Sorbit = 18 kJ (4,3 kcal); Saccharin Natrium; Aromastoffe; Farbstoffe: Chinolingelb (E 104), Indigocarmin (E 132) sowie weitere Hilfsstoffe.
Lemocin citron sind leicht gelblich bis grünlich, gesprenkelte Lutschtabletten, rechteckig mit beidseitig abgeschliffenen Kanten, mit Limonengeschmack.
Lemocin Lutschtabletten sind zuckerfrei und zahnschonend.
