Lecicarbon ist ein Abführmittel auf Kohlendioxidbasis. Lecicarbon Suppositorien beseitigen die Obstipation durch die Zufuhr von Kohlendioxid, das sich aus den Zäpfchen nach dem Einführen langsam entwickelt. Das Kohlendioxid aktiviert reflektorisch die Peristaltik und löst den Entleerungsreflex im Enddarm meist innerhalb von 15?20 Min. aus. Lecicarbon wird kurzfristig angewendet bei Obstipation.
Bei Darmverschluss (Ilius), bei entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen wie Morbus Crohn oder Colitis ulcerosa, und bei erweiterten Dickdarmkrankheiten (z.B. Megacolon) darf dieses Präparat nicht angewendet werden.
Patienten mit Erkrankungen im Anal und Rektalbereich (z.B. Hämorrhoiden, Fissuren) dürfen Lecicarbon nicht anwenden.
Wenn schon längere Zeit Beschwerden beim Stuhlgang bestehen, sollte der Arzt konsultiert werden.
Lecicarbon enthält Sojalecithin, das selten allergische Reaktionen auslösen kann.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, wenn Sie Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen!
Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder es werden möchten oder während der Stillzeit, sollten Sie Lecicarbon nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. mit der Ärztin anwenden.
Soweit der Arzt nicht anders verordnet, führen sie ca. 30 Minuten bevor die Entleerung gewünscht wird, ein Zäpfchen möglichst tief in den Darm ein.
Das Anfeuchten des Zäpfchens mit Wasser erleichtert die Einführung und beschleunigt die Wirkung besonders bei älteren Personen. Ein unmittelbar nach dem Einführen gelegentlich auftretender Drang nach Stuhlentleerung sollte zunächst zurückgehalten werden, um zu verhüten, dass das Zäpfchen wieder ausgestossen wird, ehe es voll zur Wirkung gekommen ist.
Wenn bei besonders hartnäckigen Fällen von Verstopfung nach 30 Minuten der Erfolg ausbleibt, kann unbedenklich ein zweites Zäpfchen eingeführt werden.
Um ein Herauspressen des Zäpfchens bei Kindern zu vermeiden, empfiehlt es sich, nach dem Einführen beide Gesässhälften für einige Zeit leicht zusammenzudrücken.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder von Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung.
Wenn Sie glauben, das Medikament wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Lecicarbon kann zu allergischen Reaktionen (enthält Sojalecithin) und lokalem «Brennen» unmittelbar nach der Anwendung führen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Lecicarbon Kinderzäpfchen sind für Kinder ab dem 12. Lebensmonat bestimmt.
Das Medikament darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Die Zäpfchen sollen vor Feuchtigkeit geschützt werden.
Das Arzneimittel bei Raumtemperatur (15 bis 25 °C) und für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren.
