Keli-med ist eine Creme zur Behandlung von Narbengewebe, d.h. die Inhaltsstoffe von Keli-med fördern eine gute Verheilung der Narben.
Keli-med verhindert eine übermässige Bildung von Hornhaut sowie verhärtetem Narbengewebe und wirkt regenerationsfördernd. Zum Schutz der Narbe vor UV-Strahlen enthält Keli-med zusätzlich den UV-A-Filter Avobenzon und den UV-B-Filter 3-(4-Methylbenzyliden)bornan-2-on.
Keli-med wird angewendet bei störender Narbenbildung jeder Herkunft, z.B. nach Operationen, Hauttransplantationen, Stich- und Schnittwunden, Verbrennungen, Verätzungen, Strahlenvernarbungen usw.
Keli-med darf nicht auf offene Wunden und nicht auf Schleimhaut-Narben aufgetragen werden. Nicht bei Kindern unter 6 Monaten anwenden. Bei einer bestehenden Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe darf Keli-med nicht angewendet werden.
Bei bekannter Heparin-induzierter/assoziierter Thrombozytopenie (HIT, durch Heparin ausgelöster Mangel an Blutplättchen) darf Keli-med nicht angewendet werden.
Nur auf intakter Haut und nie auf offenen Wunden anwenden. Ein Kontakt mit Augen und Schleimhäuten ist zu vermeiden.
Keli-med nicht früher als 14 Tage nach der Operation anwenden. Grundbedingung ist, dass die Wunde gut verheilt ist.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden nie durchgeführt.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das werdende Kind bekannt. Während der Schwangerschaft und in der Stillzeit soll Keli-med nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Keli-med wird mehrmals täglich sanft in die Haut eingerieben, bei derberen Narben leicht einmassiert, bis die Creme völlig eingedrungen ist. Für wulstige Narbenstränge empfiehlt es sich, zusätzlich über Nacht die Creme messerrückendick unter einem Verband aufzutragen. Je nach Ausdehnung und Stärke der bestehenden Vernarbung erstreckt sich die Behandlung über mehrere Wochen bis zu mehreren Monaten. Eine konsequente, regelmässige Anwendung ist Bedingung.
Die grossflächige Anwendung bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren und jegliche Anwendung bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren sollte nur aufgrund ärztlicher Verordnung erfolgen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
