IL HWA Ginseng ist ein Präparat mit tonischer, kräftigender Wirkung, gewonnen aus der Wurzel der Medizinalpflanze Panax Ginseng C.A. Meyer (Araliace). IL HWA Ginseng wird angewendet bei Müdigkeit, allgemeiner Schwäche und bei Erschöpfung, z.B. während der Konvaleszens nach einer Krankheit.
Diabetiker dürfen IL HWA Ginseng Extrakt verwenden aber Ginsengpräparate können möglicherweise den Blutzucker Spiegel senken. Für Diabetiker entspricht eine Tagesdosis des IL HWA Ginseng Granulat 2,4 g Laktose und Glukose (entsprechend 0.24 Broteinheiten).
Nicht anwenden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen Ginsengzubereitungen oder weiteren Bestandteilen des Arzneimittels (siehe Zusammensetzung).
Zur Anwendung dieses Arzneimittels bei Kindern liegen keine Untersuchungen vor. Es soll deshalb bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht angewendet werden. IL HWA Ginseng Extrakt ist auch für Kinder und Jugendliche unter 16 Jahren nicht geeignet, da es max. 2,5 Vol. % Alkohol enthält.
Eine Wechselwirkung mit Arzneimitteln, die die Blutgerinnung hemmen (Abschwächung sog.oraler Antikoagulantien z.B. Phenprocoumon, Acenocoumarol, Warfarin) kann nicht ausgeschlossen werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrung ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. die Ärztin oder Apothekerin um Rat fragen.
IL HWA Ginseng Extrakt: In der Packung befindet sich ein Messlöffel, dessen Inhalt 0,5 g entspricht. Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 16 Jahren nehmen ein solches Mass pro Tag.
IL HWA Ginseng Granulat: In der 90 g Packung finden Sie 30 Sachets zu 3 g (netto Gewicht). Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren nehmen den Inhalt eines Sachet pro Tag.
Wir empfehlen die Einnahme von IL HWA Ginseng am Morgen, vor dem Frühstück, aufgelöst in etwas lauwarmem Wasser, bei Bedarf mit Honig süssen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebenen vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebenen Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
In seltenen Fällen kann die Einnahme von hohen Dosen zu Magenbeschwerden führen.
Wie jedes Arzneimittel soll IL HWA Ginseng in der Originalverpackung aufbewahrt werden, gut verschlossen, an kühlem Ort und für Kinder unerreichbar.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
