Franzbranntwein-Gel Klosterfrau enthält ätherische Öle aus Pflanzen bzw. deren Wirkstoffe (Menthol, Campher). Es wird verwendet zur unterstützenden Behandlung bei Muskel- und Gelenkschmerzen, Zerrungen, Prellungen, Verstauchungen sowie zum Vorbeugen von Muskelkater, bei Gefahr des Wundliegens und bei mangelhafter Hautdurchblutung.
Franzbranntwein-Gel Klosterfrau darf nicht angewendet werden:
Wenn Sie überempfindlich sind gegenüber einem der Inhaltsstoffe. Eine solche Überempfindlichkeit äussert sich z.B. durch entzündete und gerötete Haut.
Bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren. Franzbranntwein-Gel wurde für die Anwendung bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht geprüft.
Auf Ulzerationen (Hautentzündungen, Geschwürbildungen), auf offenen Wunden und grossflächig geschädigter Haut, z.B. bei Verbrennungen, Sonnenbrand.
Bei Patienten mit vorgeschädigten Nieren darf Franzbranntwein-Gel Klosterfrau nur kurzfristig und nicht grossflächig angewendet werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Franzbranntwein-Gel Klosterfrau darf nicht angewendet werden:

Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Franzbranntwein-Gel Klosterfrau auftreten: Bei längerer Anwendung sind Hautreizungen durch Austrocknen möglich.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
Das Arzneimittel ist ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren!
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

Menthol 9,8 mg, Campher 2 mg, ätherische Öle von Zitrusfrüchten 1,4 mg, Fichtennadel 7,5 mg, Muskatnuss 1,9 mg, Thymian 1,37 mg, Wacholder 1,9 mg, sowie Alkohol 511,3 mg (51% m/m) und chemische (synthetische) Hilfsstoffe, u.a. Macrogol 600.
