Desomedin Augentropfen enthalten eine antibakterielle Wirksubstanz. Das Arzneimittel wird bei bakteriellen Erkrankungen des Auges und seiner Umgebung wie Konjunktivitiden, Infektionen des Lidrandes (Gerstenkorn) und der Tränenwege angewendet.
Dieses Arzneimittel wurde Ihnen zur Behandlung Ihrer gegenwärtigen Augenbeschwerden von Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Ihrem Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Apothekerin verordnet. Verwenden Sie es nicht für die Behandlung anderer Erkrankungen oder von Drittpersonen.
Hinweis für Kontaktlinsenträger: Während der Behandlung mit Desomedin sollen keine Kontaktlinsen getragen werden.
Bei einer bekannten oder vermuteten Überempfindlichkeit (Allergie) auf einen Inhaltsstoff dieses Augenpräparates.
Wenn sich die mit Desomedin Augentropfen behandelten Augenbeschwerden nach 2?3 Behandlungstagen verschlechtern oder neue Symptome auftreten, sofort Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin konsultieren. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder am Auge anwenden.
Anwendung während derSchwangerschaft und Stillzeit nur mit Genehmigung Ihres Arztes oder Apothekers bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Erwachsene: Im Allgemeinen werden 2 Tropfen von Desomedin 4 bis 6 mal täglich ins Auge instilliert. Die Anwendung und die Sicherheit dieses Arzneimittels bei Kindern und Jugendlichen sind bisher nicht systematisch geprüft worden, weshalb von einer Anwendung abgeraten wird. Wenn Sie die Tagesdosen anwenden, nehmen Sie für jeden Tag einen neuen Behälter, verschliessen Sie ihn nach Gebrauch und werfen Sie diesen am Ende des Tages weg.
Öffnen des Fläschchens zu 10 ml: Beim erstmaligen Gebrauch der Augentropfen Verschlusskappe bis zum Anschlag zuschrauben. Die Spitze des Fläschchens wird dabei durchstossen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Desomedin auftreten: Eine vorübergehende Augenreizung oder allergische Reaktionen. Wirkstoffe in Augenpräparaten können in den Blutkreislauf gelangen. Nebenwirkungen sind deshalb auch im Körper möglich. Falls weitere Nebenwirkungen auftreten, bei denen Sie einen Zusammenhang mit der Anwendung von Desomedin vermuten, unverzüglich Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Waschen Sie sich vor der Anwendung sorgfältig die Hände. Um die Sterilität des Arzneimittels zu erhalten, Tropferspitze des Fläschchens oder der Tagesdose weder mit den Händen noch mit dem Auge berühren. Fläschchen oder Tagesdosen nach Gebrauch sofort fest verschliessen.
Tagesdosen (DD): Trennen Sie einen Behälter von den anderen ab. Drehen Sie die Verschlusskappe ab und tropfen Sie die Lösung ins Auge; drehen Sie die Verschlusskappe auf die andere Seite um den Behälter zu verschliessen. Der Behälter kann nach dem Öffnen während des ganzen Tages mehrmals gebraucht werden.
Haltbarkeit
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Nach Anbruch des Fläschchens zu 10 ml oder des Alu-Sachets der 5 Tagesdosen nicht länger als 30 Tage verwenden.
Aufbewahrung/Lagerung
In der verschlossenen Originalpackung bei Raumtemperatur (15?25°C) und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Nach Beendigung der Behandlung das Arzneimittel Ihrer Abgabestelle (Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ärztin oder Apothekerin) zum fachgerechten Entsorgen bringen. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
Desomedin gebrauchsfertige Augentropfen enthalten: Wirkstoff: 1 mg Hexamidin-diisetionat in 1 ml sowie Hilfsstoffe.
