Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol ist eine kühlende Crème, die bei den nachfolgend aufgeführten Hautschädigungen eine lokale entzündungshemmende und antiallergische Wirkung entfaltet:
Reizungen der Haut oder leichte allergische Reaktionen (mit oder ohne Juckreiz), die durch den Kontakt mit Reinigungsmitteln, Kosmetika, Pflanzen, Tieren oder Metallen (Schmuck) ausgelöst werden;
Insektenstiche;
Sonnenbrand;
leichte Verbrennungen ohne offene Haut.
Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol wirkt juckreizlindernd, entzündungshemmend und antiallergisch und unterstützt den Aufbau der geschädigten Haut. Die Eigenschaften von Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol sind auf das Hydrocortisonacetat, dem wichtigsten Bestandteil der Crème, zurückzuführen.
Hydrocortison ist ein im menschlichen Körper natürlich vorkommendes Hormon, das entzündungshemmend wirkt. Wird es auf die Haut aufgetragen, so entfaltet es eine überwiegend lokale Wirkung. Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol enthält zudem Dexpanthenol, das durch die Zellen der Haut rasch in Pantothensäure, ein Vitamin, umgewandelt wird. Die Pantothensäure kann die Heilung der Haut fördern.
Um eine entzündete oder gereizte Hautpartie zu reinigen, sollten Sie nur Wasser verwenden, da Seife die Reizung verschlimmern könnte. Vermeiden Sie jeden Kontakt mit der Substanz oder dem Material, das die Entzündung ausgelöst hat.
Verwenden Sie Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol nicht, wenn Sie auf einen seiner Inhaltsstoffe allergisch sind.
Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol darf nicht mit den Augen in Berührung kommen; vermeiden Sie, es auch auf die Augenlider aufzutragen.
Die Crème sollte nicht angewendet werden, wenn Sie an Pilzbefall (z.B. Fusspilz), einer Virusinfektion (z.B. Fieberbläschen, Gürtelrose) oder an Hautreaktionen im Anschluss an eine Impfung leiden; ebenso ist das Auftragen auf offene Wunden und eitrige Entzündungen (z.B. Furunkel, Abszesse, Akne) zu vermeiden.
Bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren darf Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol nur unter ärztlicher Kontrolle angewendet werden.
Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol sollte nicht auf zu grosse Hautflächen oder unter einem undurchlässigen Verband aufgetragen werden.
Die Crème sollte nicht über längere Zeit angewendet werden. Tritt nach zwei Wochen keine Besserung ein, sollten Sie den Arzt bzw. die Ärztin aufsuchen. Bei einer Verschlechterung der Symptome sollten Sie mit der Behandlung aufhören und Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin konsultieren.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder es werden möchten, dürfen Sie Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol ausschliesslich nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt/der Ärztin anwenden.
Während der Stillzeit darf Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol nicht angewendet werden.
Tragen Sie die Crème 1?2× täglich dünn auf und lassen Sie sie einziehen, indem Sie sie leicht einmassieren. Wenn vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, soll eine Behandlung mit Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol höchstens 2 Wochen lang und nicht grossflächig durchgeführt werden.
Bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren darf Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol nur unter ärztlicher Kontrolle angewendet werden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Unerwünschte Wirkungen wie leichtes Brennen, Jucken oder eine Verstärkung der Hautrötung können Zeichen einer Überempfindlichkeitsreaktion auf einen oder mehrere Bestandteile der Crème sein. Hydrocortison kann ebenfalls eine Austrocknung der Haut bewirken. Bei langfristiger oder zu häufiger Anwendung kann das Risiko, dass die Haut vermehrt brüchig wird oder andere Hautveränderungen auftreten, nicht ausgeschlossen werden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Dermacalm-d mit Dexpanthenol ist ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) aufzubewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
