Paya Konjac Tuber Tabletten enthalten das Mehl aus der Konjacwurzel mit dem pflanzlichen Wirkstoff Glucomannan, gewonnen aus den Wurzelknollen der japanischen Pflanze Amorphophallus Konjac. Die Paya Konjac Tuber Tablette ist ein Quellstoffpräparat zur unterstützenden Behandlung von Übergewicht. Durch Quellung im Magen (Volumenvergrösserung) wird ein Sättigungsgefühl erreicht und somit werden übermässige Hungergefühle verhindert. Dies erleichtert eine Gewichtsabnahme bei der Durchführung einer begleitenden kalorienarmen Diät.
Paya Konjac Tuber Tabletten dürfen nicht eingenommen werden bei Erkrankungen des Magen-Darm-Traktes, insbesondere bei krankhaften Verdauungstraktverengungen, (d.h. bei Verhinderungen des Nahrungsdurchganges). Ebenso bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe.
Wie bei allen Quell- und Ballaststoffpräparaten kann die Aufnahme von gleichzeitig eingenommenen Arzneimitteln beeinflusst werden. Sollten Sie gegenwärtig andere Arzneimittel einnehmen, empfiehlt sich eine zeitlich verschobene Einnahme von ca. 60 Minuten.

Nach erstmaliger Einnahme (und höherer Dosierung) können gelegentlich Völlegefühl oder harmlose Blähungen auftreten, welche in der Regel 2-3 Tage nach Einnahme verschwinden. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Bei der Einnahme von Paya Konjac Tuber Tabletten müssen Sie genügend Flüssigkeit (mind. 3-4 dl Wasser oder Tee) zu sich nehmen, um ein wirksames Quellen zu ermöglichen. Für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
