Gelenk Sérocytol wird traditionsgemäss zur unterstützenden Behandlung bei funktionellen Störungen oder Probleme der Gelenke auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet.
Die Behandlung mit Gelenk Sérocytol erfordet eine wiederholte Anwendung, damit gute Ergebnisse erzielt werden.

Gelenk Sérocytol darf nicht angewendet werden, wenn Sie überempfindlich (allergisch) gegenüber dem Wirkstoff oder einem anderen Bestandteil von Gelenk Sérocytol sind.
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen notwendig.

Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten den Arzt oder den Apotheker bzw. die Ärztin oder die Apothekerin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene: befolgen Sie bitte Ihre Verordnung. Im Allgemeinen ein Suppositorium alle zwei bis drei Tage, am Abend beim Zubettgehen über 2-3 Monate anzuwenden. Eine Kombination mit anderen Sérocytol erfolgt gemäss den Anordnungen des Arztes oder der Ärztin.
Kinder und Jugendliche unter 18 Jahren: Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Gelenk Sérocytol bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht systematisch geprüft worden und sollte deshalb in dieser Altersklasse nicht angewendet werden.
Ändern Sie die verschriebe Dosierung nicht. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Die Anwendung von Gelenk Sérocytol kann folgenden Nebenwirkungen verursachen:
Gelegentlich leichte lokale Reizungen oder eine Aerokolie, die vorübergehender Natur sind, sowie zu Beginn der Behandlung eine leichte Ermüdung. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Lagerungshinweis: im Kühlschrank (2 °C - 8 °C) vor Licht und für Kindern unerreichbar lagern. Nicht einfrieren.

Ein Suppositorium enthält 8 mg Globuline aus Pferden, welche mit Extrakten aus Knochen-, Knorpel- und Bindegewebe, Serosa, Lymphknoten von Schweinen immunisiert wurden und als Hilfstoffe Propylenglykol, Methylparahydroxynezoat (E 218) und Propylparahydroxybenzoat (E 216).
