Antidry bath mit hautfreundlichem Mandelöl und Paraffinöl dient der Bereitung stark fettender und zugleich sanft reinigender Ölbäder. Im Badewasser bildet Antidry eine feindisperse Emulsion. In dieser Form können die enthaltenen Öle als dünner, nicht schmierender Film die Hautoberfläche überziehen, die Entfettung der Haut während der Reinigung verhindern und gleichzeitig der Haut fehlendes Fett zuführen. Zusätzlich verzögert der dünne Fettfilm den Wasserverlust der Haut und wirkt damit ihrer Austrocknung entgegen.
Antidry bath wird verwendet bei trockenen, juckenden, schuppenden Hauterscheinungen wie anlagebedingter trockener und schuppender Haut; Altershaut; empfindlicher, trockener Haut des Säuglings sowie zur Unterstützung der Behandlung verschiedener Hauterkrankungen wie trockene Ekzemformen; Schuppenflechte; Ichthyosis (Fischschuppenkrankheit).
Wie alle heissen Vollbäder: nicht bei schweren Herz- und Kreislaufstörungen; Tuberkulose, schweren fieberhaften und infektiösen Erkrankungen.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen im Arzneimittel enthaltenen Bestandteil.
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen zu befolgen.

Antidry wird dem vorbereiteten Badewasser zugefügt und durch leichtes Umrühren verteilt.
Vollbad: 15 ml = 1 Messbecher.
Teilbad/Kinderbad: 5-10 ml = ½ Messbecher.
Badedauer: 10-15 Minuten.
Temperatur: ca. 36 °C.
Bei starkem Juckreiz sind Temperaturen unter 36 °C besonders wirkungsvoll.
Um die rückfettende Wirkung nicht zu beeinträchtigen, sollte die Haut nach dem Bad nicht abgespült oder frottiert, sondern nur sanft abgetrocknet werden.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Antidry bath ist bisher nicht in klinischen Studien geprüft worden. Die Anwendung sollte ohne Rücksprache mit dem Arzt oder der Ärztin 3 Wochen nicht überschreiten.
