Ossopan 200 enthält organische und mineralische Stoffe in gleicher Zusammensetzung wie im Knochengewebe.
Während Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit wird Ossopan 200 zum Ausgleich des Mineralhaushaltes und zur Linderung von Schwangerschaftsbeschwerden eingenommen.
Bei Knochenbrüchen wird der Heilungsprozess unterstützt.
Da Ossopan 200 Kochsalz nur in Spuren enthält, kann das Präparat auch von Patienten mit Bluthochdruck ohne Bedenken langfristig eingenommen werden.
Bei krankhaft erhöhtem Calciumgehalt im Blut, sehr hohen Calciumwerten im Urin sowie bei Überempfindlichkeit gegen einen der Inhaltsstoffe soll Ossopan 200 nicht angewendet werden.
Bei schweren Nierenfunktionsstörungen oder Haemodialyse.
Bei Nierenfunktionsstörungen und bei Neigung zur Bildung von Nieren- und Harnsteinen soll der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin die Dosierung festlegen.
Eisenpräparate und gewisse Antibiotika (Tetracycline) verbinden sich bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme mit Ossopan 200. Ossopan 200 soll in solchen Fällen etwa 4 Stunden später eingenommen werden, damit die ausreichende Wirkstoffaufnahme garantiert bleibt.
Vorsicht ist geboten, wenn Sie gleichzeitig Vitamin D-haltige Arzneimittel oder Thiazid-Diuretika (harntreibende Mittel) einnehmen, da Wechselwirkungen auftreten können. Fragen Sie in solchen Fällen Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin um Rat.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie

Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrung ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Ossopan 200 darf während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit angewendet werden.
Wenn vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, ist die empfohlene Dosis für Erwachsene 3 x täglich 1-2 Dragées.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Ossopan 200 bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht systematisch geprüft worden.
Ossopan 200 soll vor den Mahlzeiten mit etwas Flüssigkeit unzerkaut eingenommen werden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Medikament wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Erhöhte Calciumkonzentrationen im Blut und im Urin bei hoch-dosierter Daueranwendung.
Abdominalschmerzen, Übelkeit, Obstipation, Juckreiz, Hautausschlag, Nesselfieber.
Wenn Sie dennoch Nebenwirkungen bemerken, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Bewahren Sie das Arzneimittel bei Raumtemperatur (15 bis 25 °C) und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Verfalldatum verwendet werden. Medikamente die Sie nicht mehr einnehmen oder deren Datum abgelaufen ist, bringen Sie am besten zur Entsorgung zurück in die Apotheke.
