Darmol Abführtabletten wirken abführend durch ihre direkte Wirkung auf den Dickdarm. Darmol Abführtabletten enthalten pflanzliche Wirkstoffe in einem Extrakt aus Sennesblättern. Darmol Abführtabletten werden eingesetzt zur Behandlung von gelegentlicher Verstopfung (z.B. bei Kostumstellung, Ortswechsel oder Bettruhe).
Bei Verstopfung sollten Sie, wenn möglich, ballaststoffreiche Nahrung (Gemüse, Früchte, Vollkornbrot) sowie viel und regelmässig Flüssigkeit einnehmen und auf körperliche Betätigung (Sport) achten.
Nicht anwenden bei allen Erkrankungen des Magen/Darm-Traktes (z.B. Darmverschluss, entzündliche Darmerkrankungen, Bauchschmerzen unbekannter Ursache), schweren Störungen des Wasser- und Mineralhaushaltes sowie bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf die Inhaltsstoffe (siehe Zusammensetzung). Für Kinder unter 12 Jahren nur auf ärztliche Verschreibung verwenden.
Das Präparat darf nur gelegentlich und nicht länger als 1-2 Wochen eingenommen werden. Langzeitbehandlungen gehören unter ärztliche Kontrolle. Bei chronischem Gebrauch/Missbrauch oder Anwendung höherer als der empfohlenen Dosen können Durchfälle mit Wasserverlust und Störungen des Salzhaushaltes (insbesondere Kaliumverlust) auftreten. Deshalb ist besondere Vorsicht geboten bei Patienten die gleichzeitig bestimmte wassertreibende Arzneimittel (Diuretika), Arzneimittel mit Süssholz-wurzel, Kortikosteroide, gewisse Antihistaminika (wie Terfenadin), Arzneimittel bei Herzmuskelschwäche (Herzglycoside wie Digoxin) sowie bestimmte Arzneimittel bei Herzrhythmusstörungen (Antiarrhythmika) einnehmen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen.
Darmol Abführtabletten dürfen während der Schwangerschaft nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt oder der Ärztin eingenommen werden. Während der Stillzeit sollten Sie Darmol Abführtabletten nicht einnehmen.
Wenn vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, nehmen Erwachsene und Jugendliche über 12 Jahre, täglich, vorzugsweise abends vor dem Schlafengehen ½ bis 1 Darmol Abführtablette. Wirkungseintritt nach ca. 8 Stunden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Darmol Abführtabletten auftreten:
In seltenen Fällen kann das Präparat Blähungen oder Bauchkrämpfe verursachen. Diese Beschwerden verschwinden, wenn das Arzneimittel nicht weiter eingenommen wird.
Sehr selten werden allergische Erscheinungen (mit Hautjucken, -rötungen, Ausschlägen) beobachtet. Es empfiehlt sich in solchen Fällen, den Arzt oder die Ärztin darüber zu informieren und seine Anweisungen zu beachten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit
