Sangerol Lutschtabletten, Mundspüllösung und Mundspray sind Arzneimittel zur Behandlung von Erkrankungen des Mund- und Rachenraumes, wie Halsschmerzen, Schluckbeschwerden, Aphthen, Entzündungen der Mundschleimhaut und des Zahnfleisches. Sangerol kann zur Unterstützung der Behandlung von Angina und Heiserkeit eingesetzt werden. Sangerol kann auch zur Vorbereitung und zur Nachbehandlung von chirurgischen Eingriffen im Mund und Rachen, wie Mandeloperationen, Kieferoperationen und zahnärztlichen Eingriffen angewendet werden.
Lidocain verringert Schmerzen auf der Schleimhautoberfläche.
Lysozym ist ein körpereigener Abwehrstoff gegen diverse Bakterien und Viren. Es hemmt zudem eine allfällige Eiterbildung.
Tyrothricin ist ein auf den Schleimhäuten wirksames Antibiotikum, das die Bakterien in Mund- und Rachenraum bekämpft. Es wirkt in vielen Fällen auch auf solche Bakterien, die gegenüber anderen Antibiotika resistent sind. Allergien auf Tyrothricin sind selten.
Die Besonderheit der Lutschtabletten besteht darin, dass die Wirkstoffe in zwei Phasen aus der Mantel-Kern-Tablette freigesetzt werden. Zuerst vermindert Lidocain, das im Tablettenmantel enthalten ist, rasch die entzündungsbedingten Schmerzen, dann werden die anderen Komponenten aus dem Tablettenkern freigesetzt.
Hinweis für Diabetiker: Sangerol mint Lutschtabletten enthalten ca. 1.2 g verwertbare Kohlenhydrate pro Einzeldosis.
Bei einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem oder mehreren Inhaltsstoffen in Sangerol soll das Präparat nicht eingenommen werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
-an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
-Allergien haben oder
-andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Bei höherem Fieber, oder wenn innerhalb einer Woche keine Besserung eintritt, ist ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Die Anwendung von Sangerol wird für Kinder unter 12 Jahren nicht empfohlen.
Sangerol darf in der Schwangerschaft und der Stillzeit nicht oder nur kurzfristig, in der üblichen Dosierung und nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin eingenommen oder angewendet werden.
Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren:
Lutschtabletten: 1 Lutschtablette je nach Schweregrad der Infektion alle 1?2 Stunden langsam im Munde zergehen lassen (nicht kauen!). Maximale Tagesdosis sind 8 Lutschtabletten.
Mundspüllösung: mehrmals täglich 15 ml (1 Messbecher) Mundspüllösung während 30?60 Sekunden im Mund- und Rachenraum einwirken lassen.
Mundspray: je nach Schweregrad der Infektion mehrmals täglich mit je 2?3 Spraystössen die entzündeten Stellen behandeln.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Sangerol bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme oder Anwendung von Sangerol auftreten: Bei Einnahme von Sangerol Lutschtabletten und Mundspray auf nüchternen Magen können bei empfindlichen Personen Übelkeit und Magenbrennen auftreten. In diesen Fällen kann die Mundspüllösung eingesetzt werden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Sangerol muss, wie alle Arzneimittel, ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden.
Vor Licht schützen und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25ºC) aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

1 Lutschtablette enthält Lidocain hydrochlorid 1.07 mg (Mantel), Lysozym hydrochlorid 8 mg (=160'000 U.FIP) (Kern), Tyrothricin 10 mg (Kern), Xylit, Aromastoffe, Farbstoffe: Chinolingelb (E 104), Patentblau (E 131) sowie weitere Hilfsstoffe. Aroma: Pfefferminz, Süssstoff: Xylit 1'152 mg = 19.60 kJ = 4.7 kcal.
15 ml Mundspüllösung enthalten Lidocain hydrochlorid 5.33 mg, Lysozym hydrochlorid 8 mg (=160'000 U.FIP), Tyrothricin 10 mg, Xylit, Propylenglycol, Aromastoffe, Farbstoffe: Chinolingelb (E 104), Patentblau (E 131), Konserv.: Methyl-p-hydroxybenzoat (E 218), Propyl-p-hydroxybenzoat (E 216) sowie weitere Hilfsstoffe.
1 ml Spraylösung enthält: Lidocain hydrochlorid 0.355 mg, Lysozym hydrochlorid 0.53 mg (=10'700 U.FIP), Tyrothricin 0.67 mg, Xylit, Propylenglycol, Aromastoffe, Farbstoffe: Chinolingelb (E 104), Patentblau (E 131), Konserv.: Methyl-p-hydroxybenzoat (E 218), Propyl-p-hydroxybenzoat (E 216) sowie weitere Hilfsstoffe.
