Pur-Rutin enthält den Wirkstoff Troxerutin und ist ein Venenarzneimittel in Form von Filmtabletten, das auf die kleinsten Blutgefässe (Kapillaren) einwirkt, indem es die Gefässwände stärkt und einer erhöhten Flüssigkeitsdurchlässigkeit entgegenwirkt.
Pur-Rutin wird angewendet bei Beschwerden und Begleiterscheinungen, die auf einen verlangsamten Rückfluss des venösen Blutes aus den Beinen und Austritt von Flüssigkeit in das Gewebe verursacht werden, wie z.B.:
Schweregefühl und Müdigkeit in den Beinen nach längerem Stehen; Schwellungen der Unterschenkel und Knöchel mit Kribbeln, Schmerzen und Krämpfen; stauungsbedingte Ödeme.
Auf Empfehlung eines Arztes, Apothekers oder Drogisten bzw. einer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin kann Pur-Rutin auch gegen folgende Beschwerden eingesetzt werden:
Krampfadern mit oder ohne Geschwürbildung bzw. juckenden Unterschenkelekzemen;
entzündungsbedingte Ödeme und Venenentzündungen (als unterstützende Behandlung);
Hämorrhoiden mit Jucken und Schmerzen;
Gefässbeschwerden in der Schwangerschaft (Krampfadern, Hämorrhoiden).
Wenn der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin Ihnen Gymnastik oder das Tragen von Kompressionsstrümpfen oder das Einwickeln der Beine verordnet hat, kann Pur-Rutin diese Massnahmen unterstützen, aber nicht ersetzen!
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen den Wirkstoff oder einen anderen Inhaltsstoff darf Pur-Rutin nicht angewendet werden.
Bei Lebererkrankungen und bei Anwendung in hohem Alter sollten Sie den Arzt bzw. die Ärztin um Rat fragen, bevor Sie mit der Behandlung beginnen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Pur-Rutin sollte während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nicht eingenommen werden, es sei denn auf ärztliche Verschreibung. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Pur-Rutin wird bis zum Abklingen der Symptome (im Allgemeinen nach einigen Tagen) in der höheren Anfangsdosis eingenommen und anschliessend in der niedrigeren Erhaltungsdosis (ca. 4 Wochen).
Anfangsdosis: 2?3× täglich eine Filmtablette.
Erhaltungsdosis: 1?2× täglich eine Filmtablette.
In schweren Fällen und auf ärztliche Verordnung können auch bis um die Hälfte höhere Dosierungen angewendet werden.
Pur-Rutin soll bis zum Abklingen der Beschwerden angewendet werden.
Pur-Rutin können Sie auch in wiederholten Behandlungsperioden zur Langzeitbehandlung verwenden. Bei längerem Fortbestehen der Beschwerden sollten Sie jedoch den Arzt bzw. die Ärztin um Rat fragen.
Filmtabletten vor oder zu den Mahlzeiten einnehmen.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Pur-Rutin Filmtabletten bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Pur-Rutin auftreten:
In seltenen Fällen kann bei empfindlichen Patienten eine Allergie entstehen. In solchen Fällen sollte die Behandlung abgebrochen werden.
Bei empfindlichen Patienten sind in seltenen Fällen Beschwerden im Verdauungstrakt (Magendrücken) und Kopfschmerzen vorgekommen, die beim Absetzen des Arzneimittels in der Regel wieder verschwinden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Pur-Rutin bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
