Multilind Suspension enthält Nystatin, ein gegen Pilzinfektionen (Candidosen) wirksames Antibiotikum. Beim Menschen können Haut und Schleimhäute (Mund, Geschlechtsorgane, Verdauungsorgane) davon betroffen sein.
Der Arzt verschreibt Multilind Suspension zur Vorbeugung und Behandlung von Pilzerkrankungen (Mykosen) des Mund- und Rachenraums, der Verdauungsorgane sowie der Analregion.
Dieses Medikament wurde Ihnen von Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin zur Behandlung Ihrer gegenwärtigen Erkrankung verschrieben.
Das Antimykotikum in Multilind Suspension ist nicht gegen alle Mikroorganismen, welche Infektionskrankheiten verursachen, wirksam. Die Anwendung eines falsch gewählten oder nicht richtig dosierten Antimykotikums kann Komplikationen verursachen. Wenden Sie es deshalb nie von sich aus für die Behandlung anderer Erkrankungen oder anderer Personen an.
Auch bei späteren neuen Infektionen dürfen Sie Multilind Suspension nicht ohne erneute ärztliche Konsultation anwenden.
Falls Ihnen eine Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einer der Komponenten von Multilind Suspension bekannt ist, dürfen Sie Multilind Suspension nicht einnehmen.
Bei auftretender Überempfindlichkeit (z.B. allergischen Hautreaktionen wie Rötungen oder Juckreiz) ist das Medikament abzusetzen und sofort ein Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. eine Ärztin oder Apothekerin zu befragen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen.
Während der Schwangerschaft sollten Sie, wenn möglich, allgemein auf die Einnahme von Medikamenten verzichten; dennoch kann Multilind Suspension, wenn unbedingt angezeigt, auch während der Schwangerschaft und in der Stillzeit angewendet werden, da der Wirkstoff von Multilind Suspension praktisch nicht resorbiert wird.
Falls von Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, erfolgt die Einnahme nach folgendem Schema.
Flasche vor Gebrauch gut schütteln!
Die Suspension mit Hilfe der beiliegenden Pipette bzw. der Dosierpumpe entnehmen.
Bei Mykosen der Mund- und Rachenhöhle, 4mal täglich 1 ml Suspension so lange wie möglich im Mund behalten und mit der Zunge überallhin verteilen; dann erst den Rest schlucken.
Um eine Ansteckung beim Neugeborenen zu verhindern, wird 1mal täglich 1 ml Suspension verabreicht.
Bei Mykosen der Verdauungsorgane und der Analregion, 3mal täglich 5?10 ml Suspension für Erwachsene. Zur Behandlung von Säuglingen werden 4mal täglich 1 ml gegeben.
Vor erstem Gebrauch Sicherheitsbügel entfernen!
Pumpkopf in Pfeilrichtung drehen, dann drücken.
1 Hub der Dosierpumpe = 0,5 ml.
Die Einnahme hat zwischen den Mahlzeiten zu erfolgen.
Wenn Sie gleichzeitig mit Multilind Suspension ein Antibiotikum einnehmen müssen, muss Multilind Suspension mindestens ebenso lange wie letzteres eingenommen werden.
Eine begonnene Antimykotika-Therapie sollte so lange wie vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin verordnet, durchgeführt werden. Weder die tägliche Dosis noch die Therapiedauer dürfen ohne Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin geändert werden.
Die Krankheitssymptome verschwinden oft, bevor die Infektion vollständig ausgeheilt ist.
Eine ungenügende Anwendungsdauer oder ein zu frühes Beenden der Behandlung kann ein erneutes Aufflammen der Erkrankung zur Folge haben.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Allergische Reaktionen (Juckreiz, Hautrötungen) wurden nur selten beobachtet; sollte eine solche jedoch auftreten; unterbrechen Sie die Behandlung und informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin.
Schwere Hautreaktionen treten nur selten auf.
Übelkeit, Unwohlsein und Durchfall können in seltenen Fällen auftreten, vor allem bei höherer Dosierung.
Falls weitere Nebenwirkungen auftreten, bei denen Sie einen Zusammenhang mit der Anwendung von Multilind Suspension vermuten, sollten Sie unverzüglich Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin konsultieren.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Die Einnahme von Multilind Suspension hat keinen Einfluss auf die Fähigkeit, ein Motorfahrzeug zu führen oder eine Maschine zu bedienen.
Wie alle Arzneimittel ist Multilind Suspension an einem für Kinder unerreichbaren Ort aufzubewahren.
Multilind Suspension ist bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) aufzubewahren. Einfrieren vermeiden.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Nach Beendigung der Behandlung, das Arzneimittel mit dem restlichen Inhalt Ihrer Abgabestelle (Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ärztin oder Apothekerin) zum fachgerechten Entsorgen bringen.

1 ml Suspension enthält den Wirkstoff Nystatin 100?000 I.U..
Hilfsstoffe: Zucker, Vanillin, Aromastoffe; Konservierungsmittel: Methylparaben (E 218), Propylparaben (E 216) sowie weitere Hilfsstoffe.
Diabetikerhinweis: 1 ml Suspension enthält 0,5 g Zucker, entsprechend 8,6 kJ = 0,05 BE.
