Loratadin Sandoz ist ein Präparat zur Behandlung allergischer Erkrankungen. Es hat eine lang anhaltende, blockierende Wirkung auf Histamin, das bei allergischen Reaktionen im Körper freigesetzt wird. Die lange Wirkungsdauer ermöglicht eine Einmaldosierung pro Tag. Bei der üblichen Dosierung beeinträchtigt Loratadin Sandoz die Leistungs- und Konzentrationsfähigkeit in der Regel nicht und macht zudem in der Regel nicht schläfrig.
Loratadin Sandoz wird bei Erwachsenen und Jugendlichen ab 12 Jahren zur vorbeugenden und symptomatischen Behandlung von Heuschnupfen, bei chronischem allergischem Schnupfen, allergischer Bindehautentzündung, sowie chronischer Nesselsucht (Urtikaria) eingesetzt.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf den Wirkstoff von Loratadin Sandoz oder auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe.
Die Einnahme von höheren Dosen kann zu Sedation (Müdigkeit, Schläfrigkeit) führen.
Beim Lenken eines Motorfahrzeuges oder bei der Bedienung von Maschinen sollte die empfohlene Dosierung nicht überschritten werden.
Die dämpfende Wirkung von Alkohol oder Diazepam wird durch Loratadin Sandoz nicht verstärkt.
Wenn Sie an einer Funktionsstörung der Leber leiden, wird der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin die Dosis normalerweise reduzieren, d.h. Sie nehmen nur jeden 2. Tag Loratadin Sandoz ein.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder stillen, wird die Einnahme von Loratadin Sandoz nicht empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin um Rat, bevor Sie Arzneimittel während der Schwangerschaft oder Stillzeit einnehmen.
1-mal täglich 1 Tablette Loratadin Sandoz.
Die Einnahme kann unabhängig von der Tageszeit erfolgen. Um einen möglichst raschen Wirkungseintritt zu erlangen, sollten Sie Loratadin Sandoz nüchtern einnehmen. Falls Sie es vorziehen, Loratadin Sandoz zusammen mit einer Mahlzeit einzunehmen, kann der Wirkungseintritt etwas verzögert sein.
Loratadin Sandoz Tabletten werden unzerkaut mit etwas Flüssigkeit eingenommen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Loratadin Sandoz auftreten:
Erregungszustände, Angstzustände, Verwirrtheit, Depression (gelegentlich), Gedächtnisverlust, Konzentrationsstörungen (selten), Gewichtsverlust, Halluzinationen (sehr selten).
Schwindel, Benommenheit, Übelkeit (häufig), Migräne, Nervosität, Schweissausbrüche, Durst, Erbrechen, Ameisenkribbeln (gelegentlich), Ruhelosigkeit, Störungen des Tastempfindens, Zittern (selten).
Schmerzen im Brustkasten, hoher Blutdruck, Herzstolpern (gelegentlich), niedriger Blutdruck, Schwellungen, kurzzeitige Bewusstlosigkeit, Herzklopfen (selten).
Husten, Schnupfen, Rachenentzündung, Nasenbluten (häufig), Bronchitis, Asthma, trockene/verstopfte Nase, Kurzatmigkeit, Entzündungen der Nasen-Nebenhöhlen, Niesen (gelegentlich), Kehlkopfentzündung, Bluthusten (selten).
Beinkrämpfe, Schwellungen der Extremitäten, Schwellungen im Gesicht und um die Augen, Schwellung der Lippen, der Zunge und des Kehlkopfs (selten).
Durchfall, trockener Mund, Verdauungsstörungen, Zunahme des Appetits, Rachenentzündung (häufig), Veränderung des Geschmacksinns, Störungen der Stimmbildung, Flatulenz, Magenentzündung, Verstopfung, Zahnschmerzen (gelegentlich), Entzündungen der Mundschleimhaut (selten).
Juckreiz, Hautausschläge, Nesselsucht (gelegentlich), trockenes Haar, trockene Haut (selten).
Gelenkschmerzen (gelegentlich), Muskelschmerzen (sehr selten).
Häufigeres oder selteneres Wasserlassen (gelegentlich).
Schmerzhafte Periodenblutung (gelegentlich), Impotenz, Libidoverlust, verstärkte Regelblutung (selten), Scheidenentzündung (sehr selten).
Kopfschmerzen (sehr häufig), Müdigkeit (häufig), Fieber, Unwohlsein (gelegentlich).
Wenn Sie einen dunklen Urin, einen hellen Stuhl und allenfalls eine Gelbfärbung der Haut beobachten, sollten Sie die Einnahme von Loratadin Sandoz sofort abbrechen und einen Arzt oder eine Ärztin aufsuchen.
