Indapamid-Mepha ist ein blutdrucksenkendes Arzneimittel. Es darf nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin eingenommen werden.

Bei schweren Störungen der Nieren- und Leberfunktion oder kürzlich erfolgtem Gehirnschlag darf Indapamid-Mepha nicht angewendet werden, ebenso bei zu tiefem Kaliumwert im Blut. Schwangere und stillende Frauen sollten Indapamid-Mepha nicht einnehmen. Ebenfalls nicht anwenden bei Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Inhaltsstoffe oder Sulfonamiden.
Dieses Arzneimittel kann die Reaktionsfähigkeit, die Fahrtüchtigkeit und Fähigkeit, Werkzeuge oder Maschinen zu bedienen, beeinträchtigen!
Teilen Sie Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin mit, wenn Sie an Gicht oder Diabetes erkrankt sind oder an Nierenfunktionsstörungen leiden.
Ebenso ist Vorsicht geboten bei der Einnahme von anderen Arzneimitteln wie z.B. Digitalis, Arzneimittel gegen Herzrhythmusstörungen, wassertreibende Arzneimittel, blutdrucksenkende Arzneimittel (insbesondere sogenannte ACE-Hemmer), Lithium, Arzneimittel gegen Depressionen, Abführmittel. Besprechen Sie die Einnahme von Arzneimitteln mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin.

Erwachsene nehmen 1 Kapsel täglich, am besten morgens, mit einem Glas Wasser ein. Das Arzneimittel kann nüchtern oder während des Frühstücks eingenommen werden.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Indapamid-Mepha auftreten:
Müdigkeit, Kopfschmerzen, Schwindelgefühl beim Aufstehen, Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Verstopfung, Mundtrockenheit, Krämpfe, Ameisenlaufen in den Extremitäten, Hautreaktionen, Entzündung der Bauchspeicheldrüse, Veränderung des Elektrolythaushaltes und des Blutbildes, Allergien.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Bewahren Sie Indapamid-Mepha ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
Die Kapseln sind trocken, in der Originalpackung bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) zu lagern.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
