Hepa-S ist ein pflanzliches Heilmittel auf der Basis von Artischockenblätterextrakt. Artischockenblätterextrakt ist gallebildend und beeinflusst die Ausscheidung von Galleflüssigkeit aus der Leber günstig. Dadurch fördert Hepa-S die Verdauung, im speziellen die Fettverdauung. Hepa-S wird bei unspezifischen Verdauungsstörungen wie Völlegefühl, Aufstossen, Blähungen, besonders infolge Störungen der Fettverdauung angewendet.
Bei schweren Erkrankungen der Verdauungsorgane darf Hepa-S nur auf ärztliche Anweisung angewendet werden. Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen Artischocken und andere Korbblütler ist Vorsicht geboten. Verdauungsbeschwerden bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren müssen ärztlich abgeklärt werden. Deshalb soll das Präparat in diesen Fällen ohne ärztlichen Rat nicht angewendet werden. Nicht anwenden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Hilfsstoffe (Farbstoffe).
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden (bei Externa)!
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Soweit nicht anders verschrieben, nehmen Erwachsene 3 mal täglich 1?2 Kapseln unzerkaut mit etwas Flüssigkeit zu den Mahlzeiten ein.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Für Hepa-S sind bisher bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch keine Nebenwirkungen beobachtet worden.
Arzneimittel nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
