Hansaplast ABC Wärme-Pflaster N enthält als arzneilich wirksamen Bestandteil Cayennepfefferdickextrakt. Das Pflaster wird verwendet zur lokalen Behandlung von muskulären und rheumatischen Schmerzen, z.B. Rückenschmerzen, Nackensteife, Schulterschmerzen, Ischias, Muskelkater und Muskelverspannungen.
Sie dürfen das Pflaster nicht anwenden:
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen zu befolgen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Das Pflaster wird auf die unverletzte Haut direkt über dem Schmerzgebiet aufgebracht und 4?12 Stunden auf der Haut belassen.
Vor der Anwendung eines neuen Pflasters sollte mindestens ein Tag abgewartet werden.
Sollten die Beschwerden nach drei Wochen nicht deutlich nachlassen, konsultieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin.
Hinweis:
Vor dem Aufbringen des Pflasters sollte sichergestellt sein, dass die Haut über dem Schmerzgebiet trocken ist. Das Abdeckpapier wird abgezogen und das Pflaster mit der klebenden Seite auf die Haut gebracht.
Um das Pflaster zu entfernen, wird eine Ecke angehoben und das Pflaster vorsichtig abgezogen. Nach der Anwendung die Hände waschen.
Das Pflaster sollte nicht gleichzeitig mit anderen Arzneimitteln am gleichen Ort angewendet werden. Beachten Sie bitte, dass Wechselwirkungen auch auftreten können, wenn der Abstand zwischen der Anwendung der einzelnen Arzneimittel mehrere Stunden beträgt.
Das Pflaster sollte nicht in der Nähe der Augen oder auf Schleimhäute aufgebracht werden (s.a. Vorsichtsmassnahmen).
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Hansaplast ABC Wärme-Pflaster N auftreten:
Gelegentlich können Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen auf der Haut (z.B. Quaddel-und Bläschenbildung) mit Juckreiz auftreten. Die Behandlung ist dann sofort abzubrechen und gegebenenfalls einen Arzt bzw. Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Hinweis:
Der wirksame Bestandteil des Pflasters, Cayennepfefferdickextrakt, verursacht bei den meisten Patienten eine lokale Hyperämie (Erhöhung der Durchblutung) mit verstärkter Hautrötung. Diese Reaktion gehört zur normalen Wirkung des Arzneimittels und geht in der Regel nach der Entfernung des Pflasters in kurzer Zeit zurück.
Sollte im Einzelfall die Wärmewirkung als zu stark empfunden werden, ist die Behandlung abzubrechen. Die eventuell nach der Entfernung des Pflasters auf der Haut verbleibenden Restmengen des Wirkstoffs können mit Pflanzenöl, einer Feuchtigkeitscreme oder mit kaltem Wasser entfernt werden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Zusätzliche Wärmezufuhr während der Behandlung (z.B. durch Bestrahlung oder Heizkissen) sollte vermieden werden.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf Siegelpapier mit «Verwendbar bis» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Haltbarkeit nach Anbruch der Packung: 3 Monate.
Für Kinder unerreichbar und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) aufbewahren.
