Clobex Shampoo enthält als Wirkstoff ein sehr stark wirksames Kortikosteroid zur äusserlichen Anwendung. Es wird zur Behandlung von Psoriasis (Schuppenflechte) oder hartnäckigen Ekzemen der Kopfhaut bei Erwachsenen ab 18 Jahren verwendet, vor allem wenn diese nicht auf schwächer wirksame Kortikosteroide anspricht. Bei Psoriasis kann Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin Clobex Shampoo auch zur Stabilisierung Ihres Zustandes und die Vorbeugung von Rückfällen verschreiben.
Die Anwendung von Clobex Shampoo führt zu einer raschen Linderung der Begleitsymptome der Hauterkrankung wie Juckreiz, Brennen und Rötung.
Clobex Shampoo darf nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin verwendet werden.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem Bestandteil von Clobex Shampoo und bei Hauterkrankungen, welche durch Viren (z.B. Herpesinfektionen wie Fieberbläschen, Windpocken [Spitze Blattern] usw.), oder Pilze verursacht sind.
Bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren darf Clobex Shampoo nicht angewendet werden.
Clobex Shampoo ist ein stark wirksames Arzneimittel.
Überschreiten Sie nicht die vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin vorgeschriebene Behandlungsdauer: eine Akutbehandlung mit einer 1× täglichen Applikation dauert normalerweise maximal 4 Wochen; zur Vorbeugung von Rückfällen wird das Präparat normalerweise 2× wöchentlich während maximal 6 Monaten angewendet.
Clobex Shampoo wird für die Anwendung bei Kindern und Jugendlichen unter 18 Jahren nicht empfohlen.
Eine hochdosierte oder grossflächige Applikation soll nur unter regelmässiger ärztlicher Überwachung erfolgen, denn der Wirkstoff kann durch die Haut aufgenommen werden und ins Blut gelangen.
Bei langandauernder Behandlung können u.a. Veränderungen wie Hautverdünnungen auftreten.
In der Psoriasis-Behandlung kann es allgemein bei der Anwendung von Kortikosteroiden zu Rückfällen, Toleranzentwicklung, Auslösung einer generalisierten Psoriasis und einer herabgesetzten Barrierefunktion der Haut kommen. Regelmässige ärztliche Kontrollen sind daher erforderlich.
Infizierte Hautläsionen sollten nicht mit Clobex Shampoo behandelt werden. Sollte sich eine entzündliche Hautläsion während der Behandlung mit Clobex Shampoo infizieren, dann wird der Arzt oder die Ärztin eine geeignete antimikrobielle Therapie einsetzen. Eine Ausbreitung der Infektion erfordert den Abbruch der Behandlung mit Clobex Shampoo.
Der Wirkstoff von Clobex Shampoo kann Symptome einer allergischen Hautreaktion auf einen der Bestandteile des Präparats maskieren. Treten Anzeichen einer Überempfindlichkeit auf, so ist das Präparat sofort abzusetzen und der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin zu informieren.
Das Präparat soll nur für Ihr aktuelles Hautleiden gebraucht werden, es darf nicht an andere Personen weitergegeben werden.
Clobex Shampoo darf nicht in Augennähe aufgetragen werden oder in der Nähe von offenen Flammen verwendet werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Wenn Sie schwanger sind oder es werden möchten, sollten Sie Clobex Shampoo ausschliesslich nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt oder mit Ihrer Ärztin verwenden. Das Gleiche gilt, wenn Sie Ihr Kind stillen.
Falls vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, wird Clobex Shampoo für eine Akutbehandlung bei Psoriasis 1× täglich während maximal 4 Wochen aufgetragen, bis eine Besserung eintritt; bei hartnäckigem Ekzem der Kopfhaut oder für die Vorbeugung von Psoriasis-Rückfällen wird das Präparat 2× wöchentlich während maximal 6 Monaten angewendet.
Clobex Shampoo soll sparsam, d.h. eine Menge von ca. ½ Esslöffel (7,5 ml), auf die Kopfhaut (bei trockenem Haar) aufgetragen und einmassiert werden, 15 Minuten einwirken lassen, danach abspülen.
Sobald eine Besserung eingetreten ist, sollte eine tägliche Akutbehandlung im Allgemeinen, nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin, abgesetzt oder mit einem schwächer wirksamen Kortikosteroid weitergeführt werden. Eine Langzeitbehandlung mit Anwendung 2× pro Woche sollte normalerweise nicht länger als 6 Monate andauern.
Nach Abbruch der Behandlung und einer Wartezeit ohne Anwendung des Präparates wird Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin gegebenenfalls erneut Clobex Shampoo verschreiben können.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Clobex Shampoo auftreten:
Lokale unerwünschte Wirkungen wie Reizungen der Haut, Brennen, Jucken, Akne und Trockenheit sowie Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen wie Nesselsucht können auftreten.
Sollten Zeichen einer Überempfindlichkeit auftreten, ist die Anwendung sofort abzubrechen und der Arzt oder die Ärztin darüber zu informieren.
Langandauernde und intensive Behandlungen mit stark wirksamen Kortikosteroiden können ein Dünnerwerden der Haut, Streifenbildung und Erweiterung kleiner oberflächlicher Hautgefässe zur Folge haben.
Bei Jugendlichen ist zu beachten, dass der Wirkstoff vermehrt in die Blutbahn aufgenommen wird, so dass bei längerer Anwendung u.a. Wachstumsstörungen auftreten können.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Clobex Shampoo darf nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen verwendet werden.
Das Arzneimittel ist bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren. Es darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
