Antiphlogistine ist eine gebrauchsfertige Paste, die zu warmen und kalten Umschlägen (sogenannten Kataplasmen) verwendet werden kann.
Der in Antiphlogistine enthaltene Wirkstoff Salicylsäure wirkt schmerzstillend und entzündungshemmend.
Antiphlogistine wird verwendet zur äusserlichen Behandlung von Schmerzen und Schwellungen. Vorzugsweise als warme Umschlagpaste bei Erkältungen, Halsweh, Rheuma, Gelenkentzündungen, Quetschungen, Verrenkungen und Muskelschmerzen; als kalte Umschlagpaste bei Insektenstichen und Verstauchungen.
Antiphlogistine darf nicht auf offene Wunden, auf ekzematöse Haut, am Auge und auf Schleimhäute aufgetragen werden.
Bei Überempfindlichkeit gegen Salicylsäure oder eine andere Komponente des Präparates darf es nicht angewendet werden.
Nicht bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren anwenden.
Bei Kindern ab 2 Jahren und Patienten mit Nierenfunktionsstörungen nur kurzfristig und nicht grossflächig anwenden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Antiphlogistine darf während der Schwangerschaft und der Stillzeit nur kurzfristig, nicht grossflächig und nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren: Tube in heissem Wasser (65 °C) 10 Min. erwärmen und vor der Anwendung gut kneten. Warme Paste ½ cm dick auf die Haut auftragen (1?2× tägl.). Mit reichlich Watte bedecken und fixieren. Antiphlogistine ist auch kalt anwendbar.
Kinder ab 2 Jahren: Antiphlogistine soll bei Kindern (ab 2 Jahren) nur kurzfristig und nicht grossflächig angewendet werden.
Nach Gebrauch Tube auf den Kopf stellen. Für vollständiges Entleeren, Tube aufschneiden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
