Nephrotrans enthält Natriumhydrogencarbonat und wird zur Behandlung der stoffwechselbedingten Übersäuerung des Blutes (metabolische Acidose) auf Verschreibung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin angewendet.
Bei erhöhtem Gehalt an Natrium im Blut und wenn eine zusätzliche Natriumzufuhr nicht erlaubt ist (z.B. bei Bluthochdruck).
Bei Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber Soja, Erdnüssen oder einem anderen Inhaltsstoff der Kapseln.
Gegebenenfalls ist eine kochsalzarme Diät einzuhalten.
Bei Kombination mit Chinidin, Chinin, Amphetamin und Ephedrin wird deren Wirkung verstärkt, was eine Dosisanpassung nötig machen kann.
Bei Kombination mit Salicylaten und Chlorpropamid wird deren Wirkung abgeschwächt, was eine Dosisanpassung nötig machen kann.
Patienten mit der seltenen, vererbten Fructoseintoleranz sollten Nephrotrans nicht einnehmen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen!

Die mittlere Dosierung beträgt 4?9 Kapseln/Tag. Die Kapseln sollen unzerkaut mit etwas Flüssigkeit über den Tag verteilt zu den Mahlzeiten eingenommen werden.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Nephrotrans auftreten:
Es können gewisse Störungen der Konzentration einzelner Substanzen im Blut auftreten. Falls irgendwelche Störungen wie z.B. Unwohlsein auftreten, ist unverzüglich der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin zu informieren.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel ist ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
