Deaftol Mundspray wird lokal bei schmerzhaften Entzündungen im Mund- und Rachenraum, wie Aphthen, Zahnfleischentzündungen, Halsschmerzen, Schluckbeschwerden etc. angewendet.
Lidocain dämpft die Schmerzen, die bei Entzündungen der Schleimhäute im Mund- und Rachenraum auftreten. Aluminiumlactat hemmt das Wachstum der Bakterien und Pilze und wirkt entzündungshemmend.
Deaftol Mundspray enthält keinen Zucker und kann deshalb auch von Personen benützt werden, die eine zuckerarme Diät einhalten müssen.
Bei länger andauernden, immer wiederkehrenden oder nicht heilenden Entzündungen im Mund- und Rachenraum ist ein Arzt oder eine Ärztin aufzusuchen, um die Ursache dafür abklären zu lassen.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Wirk- oder Hilfsstoffe.
Bei höherem Fieber, oder wenn innerhalb einer Woche keine Besserung eintritt, ist ein Arzt oder eine Ärztin aufzusuchen, um die Ursache dafür abklären zu lassen. Über die Anwendung während Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit entscheidet der Arzt oder Zahnarzt, bzw. die Ärztin oder Zahnärztin.
Lidocain tritt in die Muttermilch über, in den empfohlenen Dosierungen besteht aber für den Säugling keine Gefährdung. Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für den Säugling bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Zahnarzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. die Ärztin, Zahnärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene: bis 6 mal täglich 1-2 Sprühstösse im entzündeten Bereich anwenden.
Kinder ab 4 Jahren: bis 6 mal täglich 1 Sprühstoss im entzündeten Bereich anwenden.
Kinder unter 4 Jahren: (nur auf ärztliche Verordnung) 2-3 mal täglich 1 Sprühstoss im entzündeten Bereich anwenden. Beim Kind während des Ausatmens einsprühen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt, Zahnarzt, bzw. der Ärztin oder Zahnärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Zahnarzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Zahnärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Solange die anästhetische Wirkung von Deaftol Mundspray anhält, ist es empfehlenswert, keine Nahrungsmittel einzunehmen, um Bisswunden im Bereich der Schleimhäute und der Zunge zu verhindern.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Deaftol Mundspray auftreten: in den empfohlenen Dosierungen kann Deaftol Mundspray unter Umständen ein Gefühl von Mundtrockenheit bewirken, welches durch den adstringierenden Effekt des Arzneimittels bedingt ist.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Zahnarzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Zahnärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Deaftol Mundspray enthält 35 Vol.-% Alkohol. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) lagern.
