Cardiplant 450 ist ein pflanzliches Heilmittel auf der Basis eines alkoholischen Extraktes von Weissdornblättern mit Blüten. Der verwendete, hochdosierte Extrakt ist auf einen festgelegten Gehalt an Procyanidinen eingestellt, was eine gleichbleibende Qualität gewährleistet.
Cardiplant 450 wird verwendet bei nervösen Herzbeschwerden. Nervöse Herzbeschwerden äussern sich wie folgt: rascher Puls, Herzklopfen, Herzstechen, Schwindelgefühl, Druck- und Beklemmungsgefühl in der Herzgegend.
Wenn unregelmässiger Puls, starkes Herzklopfen, stechende Schmerzen in der Brustgegend und Atemnot plötzlich auftreten oder länger andauern, ist die Konsultation eines Arztes bzw. einer Ärztin angezeigt. Diese werden feststellen, ob das Herz oder die Gefässe organisch erkrankt sind oder ob die Beschwerden nervös bedingt sind.
Bis heute sind keine Anwendungseinschränkungen bekannt. Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen notwendig.

Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet nehmen Erwachsene täglich 1?2 Filmtabletten mit etwas Flüssigkeit ein. Bei der Einnahme von 2 Filmtabletten empfiehlt es sich morgens und abends je 1 Filmtablette zu nehmen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Für Cardiplant 450 sind bisher bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch keine Nebenwirkungen beobachtet worden. Wenn Sie dennoch Nebenwirkungen beobachten, informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Eine Filmtablette enthält: 450 mg Trockenextrakt aus Weissdornblättern mit Blüten (4?6,6:1), quantifiziert auf 78?90,6 mg oligomere Procyanidine. Auszugsmittel: Ethanol 45% (m/m). Dieses Präparat enthält zusätzliche Hilfsstoffe sowie den Farbstoff Eisenoxid (E 172).
